MACHINE TOOL SYSTEM
A machine tool system includes: a machine tool that includes an openable door configured to block an opening of a cover surrounding the machine tool, and a door driving unit configured to open and close the door; and a work exchange device configured to exchange a work disposed in the cover. Further, the machine tool system includes: a first opening width setting unit configured to set a door opening width of the door; a second opening width setting unit configured to set a turnback opening width; and a door control unit configured to control the door driving unit to move the door in an opening direction from a completely closed position of the door to a position of the turnback opening width of the door, then move the door in a closing direction and stop the door at a position of the door opening width.
Personal Protective System Tool Communication Adapter
A tool communication adapter system is provided. One exemplary system described herein includes a tool communication adapter having an adapter body including first and second mechanical attachment ends, a first electrical connector proximate the first mechanical attachment end and a second electrical connector proximate the second mechanical attachment end, a first supply channel having an opening extending through the body between the first and second mechanical attachment ends, and including a first supply channel connector at the first attachment end and a second supply channel connector at the second mechanical attachment end, and a control unit in communication with the first and second electrical connectors. The control unit is configured to provide a filter command signal to a protective filter in response to a signal received at the first electrical connector. An exemplary tool communication adapter thus allows communication between a tool and personal protective equipment.

MOTOR KILL SWITCH ARRANGEMENT
The present invention relates to motor safety devices as used in increasing numbers for the killing of engines or disengaging propulsion units from motors, when there are no operators to maintain control of an apparatus or vehicle such as jet-ski, boat, go-kart and the like or personnel to oversee use of a motorised tool or the like. Motor boat operators on a boat have been known to fall overboard without being detected by the operator of the boat. Such runaway boats have been known to seriously injure the operator of the boat in the water since a runaway boat tends to circle back to the place where the operator has fallen overboard. The present invention is also applicable to other types of equipment such as motorised gymnasium equipment, hand operated power tools, such as agricultural and arboriculturist equipment and wood working tools.

Hazardous energy control system
A hazardous energy control system has a web-based application adapted to be associated with a personal electronic device. The application has a worksite manager that is created from project documents that are uploaded to the application and selectively displays locations for equipment and hazardous energy barriers.
Work apparatus with safety equipment
An engine-driven brush cutter (100) equipped with a safety device (42) that includes an acceleration sensor unit (24) attached to a drive unit (4) in an aslant orientation such that a detection axis (DA) of the sensor unit (24) inclines by an angle (θ1) relative to the up-and-down direction (V) of the brush cutter (100). This inclined orientation of the detection axis (DA) contributes to lowering the sensitivity of the sensor unit (24) to engine vibration to which the safety device should not be sensitive so much.
Work apparatus with safety equipment
An engine-driven brush cutter (100) equipped with a safety device (42) that includes an acceleration sensor unit (24) attached to a drive unit (4) in an aslant orientation such that a detection axis (DA) of the sensor unit (24) inclines by an angle (θ1) relative to the right-and-left direction (R-L) of the brush cutter (100). This inclined orientation of the detection axis (DA) contributes to lowering the sensitivity of the sensor unit (24) to impulses in the direction parallel to a moving direction of a cutting blade (40) operated by an operator at work.
Opening/closing body control device and opening/closing body control method
In an opening/closing body control device, catching determination part (15) determines whether or not a catching in an opening/closing body has occurred based on a value of current that flows in a motor; a plurality of sensors (51 to 53) disposed to be shifted by predetermined electrical angles detect positions of magnetic poles of the motor (40); a counterclockwise pattern storage unit (14) stores a counterclockwise pattern which is a pattern corresponding to outputs of the plurality of sensors (51 to 53) and a predetermined shift in the electrical angles; and drive command part (16) controls the drive circuit (30) using a clockwise pattern or the counterclockwise pattern based on the outputs of the plurality of sensors (51 to 53), and in a case where the catching determination part (15) determines that a catching has occurred, controlling the drive circuit (30) in a predetermined pattern for eliminating the catching.
