Optical sheet, light-emitting device, method for manufacturing optical sheet, and method for manufacturing light-emitting device

A light-diffusing layer is provided for diffusing incident light by diffracting at least a portion of the incident light, and the diffuse light diffused by the light-diffusing layer is diffused about a direction different from the emission direction of non-diffused light that passes through the light-diffusing layer without being diffused.

Lighting apparatus with optical member having asymmetric light incident surface

A lighting apparatus includes a plurality of LEDs arranged in a row on an elongated wiring board; and a lens covering all the LEDs and controlling distribution of light emitted from each LED. An optical axis of the light emitted from each LED is orthogonal to the wiring board. The lens has a light emitting surface that controls distribution of the light emitted from each LED. When the light emitting surface is divided into at least three regions, the lens performs light distribution such that light radiated from a region is distributed in a direction tilted with respect to the optical axis of the light emitted from the LED. Thus, asymmetric distribution of light is achieved when the optical axis of the light from the LED is the axis of symmetry, and further, the luminous flux in the direction tilted with respect to the optical axis is increased most.

Optical element for a laser vehicle headlight

The invention relates to an optical element (1) for a laser vehicle headlight (2), wherein the laser vehicle headlight (2) comprises at least one laser light source (3) and at least one luminous element (4) which can be irradiated by the laser light source (3) and can thus be excited to emit visible light, wherein the optical element (1) has at least one receptacle for the luminous element (4) and at least one reflection layer (9) which reflects light in the direction of the laser light source (3) is assigned to the optical element (1) at least on a side of the luminous element (4) which faces away from the laser light source (3) in the mounted state. The invention additionally relates to a light source module (16) comprising at least one optical element (1) of this type, and a vehicle headlight (2) comprising at least one optical element (1) of this type or comprising at least one light source module (16) as mentioned initially.

Light shield with detachable panels for controlling light distribution

A light shield includes a main portion and an overlap portion that is substantially perpendicular to the main portion. The main portion includes a first scored area and a base platform disposed below the first scored area. The first scored area includes a plurality of score lines that define one or more detachable panels. The overlap portion includes a second scored area and another base platform. The second scored area includes another plurality of score lines that define one or more detachable overlap panels. Further, the light shield includes a flange that extends substantially perpendicular to and along a length of a base platform of the light shield's main portion. A first interlocking arm extends from a first end of the flange and a second interlocking arm extends from a second end of the flange that is opposite to the first end.

Coating material composition, and light-diffusing member manufactured using said coating material composition

A coating material composition include a hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin, a fluororesin, and light diffusive particles, and the hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin has a weight-average molecular weight in a range of 10,000 to 30,000 and a hydroxyl value in a range of 14 to 70, wherein a mass ratio of the fluororesin to the hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin (the fluororesin/the hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin) is in a range of 5/95 to 50/50. The coating material composition can provide the light diffusing properties capable of uniformly diffusing light while effectively masking a light source image.

The present invention relates to a flower-structured, dynamic, decorative lamp, at least three the sliding arms are hinged at the pivot section of the sliding support through a restricting member in the form of being separated by an angle from each other, and that in the case of simulating the opening of petal structure, the sliding arms can change the angle made with the limiting rest by the movement of the sliding rod connected to the sliding support in the direction of its own axis. One end of the sliding rod is connected to the sleeving section of the sliding support and the other end is connected to a damper device or a power transmission device that drives the sliding rod pass through the center of the limiting rest to move the sliding support.

Disclosed is a dock light assembly for illuminating a trailer interior. The dock light assembly may include a cylindrical housing having an illumination source therein, and an optical lens secured to an end of the housing. The optical lens may be configured to provide focused illumination to the trailer interior. A rotationally self-correcting screen device may be positioned between the illumination source and the optical lens. The screen device may be configured to absorb a portion of the focused illumination such that illumination to an upper portion of the trailer interior is reduced. The rotationally self-correcting screen device remains in a horizontal orientation even if the housing is rotated. One benefit of the disclosed dock light assembly is that forklift operators working in the trailer interior are shielded from high intensity light, even though the lower portion of the trailer interior remains brightly lit.
