SMART CANDLE PLATFORM AND SYSTEM
A Smart Candle Platform may be configured to produce candle light using a natural wax candle as its fuel source or any other fuel source capable of producing light, including liquid fuels if so configured. The outer shell, inner cover, top cover and base provides a beautiful exterior shell which does not melt but emulates the look of a traditional pillar candle. The outer shell may be changeable/replaceable allowing for style and or seasonal changes. A Smart Candle Platform having multiple interactive systems and sensors for production of natural light via a safe, controllable device which may communicate with other similar configured devices or smart devices having application software embedded therein i.e. a smart phone having an app. is disclosed. The Smart Candle Platform may be configured to allow for auto-extinguishment. The Smart Candle Platform may be configured to allow for the addition of smells or scents.
Combustion device having double-layer structure
A combustion device having a double-layer structure includes a main body, which is double layered, including an inner-layer wall and an outer-layer wall disposed outside of and spaced from the inner-layer wall such that the inner-layer wall and the outer-layer wall include a hollow disposed therebetween. The inner-layer wall forms a fuel receptacle with an opening. A wick has an end defining fuel-drawing end inserted into the fuel receptacle through the opening.
POLE MOUNTED TORCH ASSEMBLY
A torch and support pole combination has a wick extending upwardly therefrom. A pole adapter with a pole receiver is affixed to a torch assembly. A support pole is received in the pole receiver. The pole has an outwardly biased spring tab that is compressible by an inside surface of the pole receiver until the spring tab is inserted to a location above a top surface of the pole receiver, thereby creating a secure attachment of the torch assembly to the pole. The upper end of the pole is inserted into the pole receiver. The outwardly biased spring tab on the pole is compressed with an inside surface of the pole receiver. Compression of the spring tab is relieved when the spring tab is inserted to a location above a top surface of the pole receiver, thereby creating a secure attachment of the torch assembly to the pole.

The invention relates to a boron-free impregnating solution for a wick, a boron-free wick, and a candle comprising a wick according to the invention. The invention further relates to a method for impregnating a wick with an impregnating solution according to the invention.
Oil Lamp Post Cap Holder
The present invention is a lamp apparatus that includes a reservoir for flammable liquids and a wick that can be incorporated with a post and within the cap of a post, such as a deck or fence post. The apparatus can include an external housing that attaches to a post and contains and conceals the internal components of the lamp apparatus within the external housing. This external housing can resemble and function as the cap of a post. The apparatus may allow for a user to remove a snuffing cap from the top of the external housing and ignite the lamp's wick, which then allows the post to function as a torch. The apparatus may also allow for a user to place the snuffing cap back on the top of the external housing to extinguish the flame and discreetly conceal that a lamp is contained within the cap of the post.
Pole mounted torch assembly
A torch and support pole combination has a wick extending upwardly therefrom. A pole adapter with a pole receiver is affixed to a torch assembly. A support pole is received in the pole receiver. The pole has an outwardly biased spring tab that is compressible by an inside surface of the pole receiver until the spring tab is inserted to a location above a top surface of the pole receiver, thereby creating a secure attachment of the torch assembly to the pole. The upper end of the pole is inserted into the pole receiver. The outwardly biased spring tab on the pole is compressed with an inside surface of the pole receiver. Compression of the spring tab is relieved when the spring tab is inserted to a location above a top surface of the pole receiver, thereby creating a secure attachment of the torch assembly to the pole.
LIQUID FUEL BURNING TORCH SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATIC FUEL REPLENISHMENT AND FLAME EXTINGUISHMENT
A liquid fuel burning torch system maintains fuel within one or more torches by pumping fuel from a central reservoir to the torches via a plumbing system. The torches can be extinguished by reversing the flow of the fuel in the plumbing system, for example by reversing a pumping direction of the pump, switching pumps, or actuating flow reversal valves. The torches can include remotely controlled torch igniting mechanisms, wireless access for remote torch monitoring and/or control, and/or heat sensors for determining whether the torch is burning. The torches can include fuel overfill prevention (FOP) valves. A flow of fuel through the FOP valves can be directed so as to avoid impinging on plugs of the FOP valves. The FOP valves can include check valves that allow fuel to be drained from the torches even when the FOP valves are closed.

A votive device includes a grip; a lamp holder fixed to the grip and having a first electrical lamp holder contact and a second lamp holder electrical contact; a first device electrical contact and a second device electrical contact exposed to the outside surface of the grip and arranged at a predetermined mutual distance so as to be touched simultaneously by a user's hand when gripping said grip; a first electrical conductor directly connecting the first lamp holder electrical contact and the first device electrical contact, and a second electrical conductor directly connecting the second lamp holder electrical contact to the second device electrical contact.
IGNITABLE ELECTRONIC CANDLE
An ignitable electronic candle including a candle body and an electronic luminous part is provided. The electronic luminous part that includes a light-transmitting shield, a first luminous body, an electronic control unit and a power supply is set below the candle body. The first luminous body is located near the center of the lower surface of the light-transmitting shield. A light guide body wrapped in an ignitable sleeve is installed in the middle of the upper surface of the light-transmitting shield. The light guide body and the ignitable sleeve pass through the candle body above the light-transmitting shield and extend out of the upper surface of candle body. The first luminous body is electrically connected with the power supply through the electronic control unit. The ignitable sleeve can be lit like a candle wick to make the electronic candle function as a traditional candle.
IGNITABLE ELECTRONIC CANDLE
An ignitable electronic candle including a candle body and an electronic luminous part is provided. The electronic luminous part that includes a light-transmitting shield, a first luminous body, an electronic control unit and a power supply is set below the candle body. The first luminous body is located near the center of the lower surface of the light-transmitting shield. A light guide body wrapped in an ignitable sleeve is installed in the middle of the upper surface of the light-transmitting shield. The light guide body and the ignitable sleeve pass through the candle body above the light-transmitting shield and extend out of the upper surface of candle body.
