In one example, the lighting assembly includes a backing structure having a first backing surface configured to face the interior when the lighting assembly is mounted in the vehicle. A bezel comprises a wall that extends from an outer edge portion to an inner edge portion. The inner edge portion is spaced apart from the first backing surface to define a gap and surrounds an opening that is configured to expose at least a portion of the first backing surface to the interior. A light source is disposed between the backing structure and the bezel and is covered by the wall. The light source is operative to produce light that passes from the light source through the gap onto the first backing surface and is reflected therefrom through the opening to the interior.

In one embodiment, a linear light emitting device comprises one or more linear extrusions collectively comprising a horizontal mounting extension, an array of light emitting diodes, a vertical support, and a linear support platform. In one embodiment, the light emitting device comprises a mounting extension that extends from the light emitting device for the bottom surface of the mounting extension to be mounted to a top rail of a vehicle cargo compartment (such as a trailer or cargo compartment of a truck) and a vertical support that positions a linear array of light emitting diodes above the top rail and oriented at a first orientation angle, such as 45 degrees, to the bottom surface of the horizontal mounting surface. In one embodiment, the linear light emitting device is mounted between two roof bows or below one or more roof bows.

The light guide member has a diffusion portion formed on a surface of the protruding portion facing downward and diffusing light, a first light guide portion guiding light emitted from the light source to the protruding portion, and a reflecting portion reflecting light guided by the first light guide portion toward the diffusion portion.

A luggage transport cart with a cabin made primarily out of a polymer. In some embodiments, the luggage cart includes an inwardly sloping floor and shelf to help contain the luggage. The floor and shelf may further include ribs and grooves to reduce drag on items disposed thereon, as well as to assist in draining away incident precipitation. The ribs and grooves may be inclined toward the centers of the floor and shelf, with reliefs formed at the junction of inclined surfaces to channel precipitation liquid out of the luggage cart. In some embodiments, the cabin includes backlit panels for enhanced display effects during ambient darkness or semi-darkness. The backlit panels may be sourced by a battery that recharges during daylight hours via a solar panel.

The light transmissive carpet is disposed above the top side of the light guide film. The light transmissive carpet includes a backing structure and a pile mounted to and extending from the backing structure. The light guide film is configured to spread and redirect the light that is received therein through the edge for emitting the light through the top side of the light guide film such that some of the light is transmitted through the light transmissive carpet.
