HYBRID BOILER-DRYER AND METHOD

A method for reducing the emission of contaminants by a furnace is provided. The method includes forming a bed from a stream of fuel within the furnace; fluidizing the bed with flue gas from the furnace; and heating the fuel within the bed so as to generate char, ash and contaminants. The method further includes capturing the contaminants via the ash.

Method for the combustion management in firing installations and firing installation

In a method for the combustion management in firing installations, in which a primary combustion gas quantity is conveyed through the fuel into a primary combustion area, part of the waste gas flow is extracted in the rear grate area and returned to the combustion process in the form of internal recirculation gas. In this case, no secondary combustion air is supplied between the grate and the supply of the internal recirculation gas. A firing installation for carrying out this method features nozzles above the firing grate such that no air supply is arranged between the firing grate and the nozzles.

Portable stove and/or fire pit

A portable camping stove/fire pit has a cylindrical combustion chamber having a bottom member and circularly configured vertical side wall which extends upwardly from the bottom member and terminates in a top edge. The circularly configured side wall has a plurality of spaced apart vertically oriented slots, where each of the slots extends from the exterior of the combustion chamber into the interior. The circularly configured side wall has a plurality of vertically aligned louver members disposed in a spiraling configuration about the combustion chamber, where each louver is disposed tangentially to a respective vertical slot. During combustion within the combustion chamber, a flow of air is drawn past the plurality of vertically aligned louver members, through the slots into the interior, thereby forming a vortex as combustion occurs within the combustion chamber.

Biomass pellet stove

A stove using biomass pellets as fuels includes a stove body, wherein the stove body comprises a firebox; hopper, wherein the hopper is fixed above the stove body; and feed tube, wherein the top end of the feed tube which is connected to the hopper is fixed outside the stove body, the bottom end of the feed tube which is connected to the firebox crosses the stove body. The stove using biomass pellets as fuels solves the problem that common pellet stoves usually transfer the fuels to the hearth using a screw feeder or other feeding equipment, which expend too much cost.

Selectively Closable Hatch

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a selectively-closable hatch for automatically preventing airflow through the blower inlet of a fuel-burning grill. The hatch has a first, normal, resting closed configuration which prevents the flow of air through the inlet and into the cooking chamber of the grill, and a second, open configuration which is obtained when a fan is engaged to create a forceful airflow through the inlet path. The force of air pushed against the hatch pushes the hatch open, both when the fan is disengaged or falls below a minimum strength, the hatch returns to the closed configuration and prevents air from being drawn or otherwise flowing through the inlet path into the cooking chamber of the grill.

Heating Device Using Wood Fuel

The utility model relates to thermal power engineering, particularly to heating devices in which wood fuel undergoes high-temperature gasification (pyrolysis). The problem which the claimed utility model addresses is that of the consistent and environmentally clean combustion of wood fuel possessing a natural (that is, high) moisture content. The technical result is achieved in that the device includes a vertically-oriented additional gas duct through which the moisture contained in the fuel is removed in the form of of steam from the upper part of a fuel hopper to a flame in an afterburn chamber, wherein carbon monoxide mixed with steam is burned off and does not enter the atmosphere.

Ignition device using pellet fuel

The present invention relates to an ignition device using pellet fuel capable of quickly igniting and burning the pellet fuel, which is supplied into an inner container, and including a container part having the inner container in which the pellet fuel is accommodated while being dropped therein and an outer container of which an upper part is integrally provided with an outer side of the inner container, a heater bar provided at a lower part of the container part and configured to ignite the pellet fuel while being heated by electrical energy, and a cover provided at an inner bottom of the inner container and configured to cover the heater bar.

PELLET SMOKER

A floor and an upright sidewall formed from two vertically coaxial components, each component having a floor baffle with a plurality of floor openings defined therein, each floor retained within a respective upright sidewall with a plurality of sidewall openings defined therein. The floor openings and the sidewall openings cooperate between the two coaxial components such that flow of gases through the floor and upright sidewall of the baffle structure is controlled by rotation of the two vertically coaxial components relative to one another.
