Top combustion stove
A burner assembly for top combustion hot blast stove including a burner surrounded by a burner shell, where the burner has a circular cross-section; a number of air nozzles arranged for tangentially feeding air to the burner, the air nozzles being connected to one or more air distribution chambers; a number of gas nozzles arranged for tangentially feeding gas to the burner, the gas nozzles being connected to one or more gas distribution chambers; wherein the air nozzles are arranged in one or more inclined or vertical stacked arrays of air nozzles, each inclined or vertical stacked array being in connection with one inclined or vertical air distribution chamber; the gas nozzles are arranged in one or more inclined or vertical stacked arrays of gas nozzles, each inclined or vertical stacked array being in connection with one inclined or vertical gas distribution chamber; and the inclined or vertical air distribution chamber(s) and the inclined or vertical gas distribution chamber(s) are arranged along the circumference of the burner shell.
Film temperature optimizer for fired process heaters
A fired heater with a film temperature optimizer is presented. The fired heater is for heating a process fluid in process coils within the fired heater. The process coils experience high temperatures at the outlets. The film temperature optimizer includes baffles or means for changing the flow of the fired heating gas around the process coils near the coil outlets. The baffles are positioned near the process coil outlets.

Combustion tube assembly of a water heater
A combustion tube assembly of a water heater includes a combustion tube having an open end, a closed end, and an outflow opening located between the open end and the closed end. A cavity of the combustion tube provides a chamber for a combustion of a water heater fuel that produces an exhaust gas that flows down toward the closed end. The combustion tube assembly further includes a diverter structure positioned inside the combustion tube to divert the exhaust gas such that the exhaust gas flows toward the closed end on a first side of the diverter structure and flows from the first side of the diverter structure to the second side of the diverter structure through a flow opening proximal to the closed end. The outflow opening provides an outlet for the exhaust gas that flows to the second side of the diverter structure to exit the combustion tube.

A cavity of the combustion tube provides a chamber for a combustion of a water heater fuel, where the outflow opening provides an outlet for an exhaust gas resulting from the combustion of the water heater fuel to exit the combustion tube. The combustion tube assembly further includes a spring positioned in the cavity of the combustion tube at the closed end of the combustion tube.
High-efficiency heating apparatus
A high efficiency heating apparatus for heating fluids and cooking mediums, such as oil or shortening within a fryer, includes a natural draft (non powered) combustion chamber with internal baffles that is affixed to an exterior surface of a fry tank.
