Wellhead gas heater
A superheater truck comprises a shell, a heat source, a heat exchanger, at least two flame arrestors, a plurality of parallel rows of fins, and a plurality of corrugated fins disposed between the parallel rows of fins. The heat source is within the shell and comprises at least one inlet vent and at least one outlet vent. The heat exchanger is within the shell and is configured to exchange heat received from the heat source and a fluid within the heat exchanger. A first one of the at least two flame arrestors is at the inlet vent, and a second one of the at least two flame arrestors is at the outlet vent.
SUBMERGED COMBUSTION BURNERS, MELTERS, AND METHODS OF USE
Submerged combustion burners having a burner body and a burner tip connected thereto. The burner body has an external conduit and first and second internal conduits substantially concentric therewith, forming first and second annuli for passing a cooling fluid therethrough. A burner tip body is connected to the burner body at ends of the external and second internal conduits. The burner tip includes a generally central flow passage for a combustible mixture, the flow passage defined by an inner wall of the burner tip. The burner tip further has an outer wall and a crown connecting the inner and outer walls. The inner and outer walls, and the crown are comprised of same or different materials having greater corrosion and/or fatigue resistance than at least the external burner conduit.
Flameless cooking appliance
A flameless cooking apparatus for use with liquid fuels and for indoor or outdoor use under field operations. The burner exhibits low CO and hydrocarbon emissions and meets standards for burner thermal efficiency when used with JP-8 fuel. The apparatus employs a catalytic burner having among its parts (i) a combustion catalyst; (ii) a conductive surface, e.g., cooking surface; and (iii) in between the catalyst and the conductive surface and in direct physical contact with both surfaces, a heat spreader for conductively transferring heat of combustion from the catalyst to the conductive surface. Also claimed are a method of heat flux and a method of cooking.
Fuel injection device
A fuel injection device for injecting an air-fuel mixture to a combustion chamber in a combustor of a gas turbine engine includes a fuel injector which is arranged on an axis of the fuel injection device. The fuel injector includes a fuel injection portion for injecting fuel in the radial direction of the fuel injection device, a fuel flow path portion forming a passage through which fuel is supplied to the fuel injection portion, and a heat shield cover that covers an end portion facing toward the combustion chamber side of the fuel injection portion such that an air layer is formed between the heat shield cover and the end portion.
FLUIDIC BURNER WITH HEAT STABILITY
A burner comprises a central passageway and outlets for fuel and for stabilizing oxidant arranged peripherally around the central passageway, and comprises outlets within the burner through which biasing gas, such as gas comprising oxygen, can be injected to enable control of the direction of the flame that is generated by combustion of the fuel and the oxidant at the face of the burner.
WATER HEATING APPARATUS
To provide a water heating apparatus which has a inverse combustion type burner installed within a case for a heat exchanger so as to cause heat to be transferred from an outer peripheral flange of the burner to the heat exchanger case. This water heating apparatus is provided with: a fan for supplying combustion air; a chamber case which is connected to the fan and which has set therein a chamber where an air-fuel mixture is formed; a inverse combustion type burner for combusting the air-fuel mixture supplied from the chamber; a heat exchanger in which combustion gas generated by the burner is introduced into a case where water is heated; and sealing member which is installed between a peripheral flange of the chamber case and a peripheral flange of the case, wherein the burner is set inside the case, and an outer peripheral flange of the burner is anchored to an inner wall surface of the case.
