A portable chair assembly including first and second chairs and a movable support frame, each chair having a seat and a backrest. Each backrest is adapted (i) to be folded by a user onto its respective seat in a collapsed position and (ii) to be moved away from that seat into a deployed position. The support frame has at least two frame segments, each frame segment having an upper frame portion supporting one of the backrests at pivotable connections with the upper backrest portion of that backrest, and each frame segment being joined to the other frame segment by an upper joint member and a lower joint member. At least one angle member is provided per chair, a backrest end portion of each angle member being fixedly or removably secured to one of the first chair backrest and the second chair backrest, and a frame portion of each angle member restricting movement of the support frame away from the seats to establish a maximum deployment angle in the deployed position. A container, having an opening, is positioned between the first chair seat and the second chair seat. A blanket is placeable through the opening into the container to be stored therein in the collapsed position and deployable from the container in the deployed position.

Systems and methods for moving a convertible bench between a first position, which presents a backrest, and a second position, which presents a tabletop, is described herein. While the described systems can include any suitable component, in some cases, they include a base having a first end piece that has a first set of legs with a first arched leg support that extends between the first set of legs and a second end piece having a second set of legs with a second arched leg support that extends between the second set of legs. The bench further includes a backrest/table portion that is hingedly coupled to the base so as to be pivotable from a first position that presents a backrest to a second position that presents a tabletop. Systems and methods for moving a convertible bench between a first position, which presents a backrest, and a second position, which presents a tabletop, is described herein. While the described systems can include any suitable component, in some cases, they include a base having a first end piece that has a first set of legs with a first arched leg support that extends between the first set of legs and a second end piece having a second set of legs with a second arched leg support that extends between the second set of legs. An audio-enhanced furniture system comprises: a furniture assembly; an upholstery fabric at least partially covering the furniture assembly; and a speaker system positioned within the furniture assembly, the speaker system including a speaker covered by the upholstery fabric. The speaker is configured to be tuned to compensate for sound being emitted from the speaker through the upholstery fabric. A method of tuning a speaker to compensate for sound being emitted through upholstery fabric comprises: selecting a baseline equalization, configuring the speaker to emit sound at an actual equalization approximate to the baseline equalization; covering the speaker with an upholstery fabric; measuring a resultant equalization as the speaker emits sound through the upholstery fabric; calculating a differential equalization; and reconfiguring the audio system to emit sound from the speaker through the upholstery fabric according to the baseline equalization by adjusting the actual equalization by the differential equalization.

A creeper for accessing cabinets includes a first end and a second end. The creeper includes a base support structure having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a plurality of side walls extending between the top surface and the bottom surface. The base support structure also includes a cabinet entry first end that is shaped and dimensioned for positioning within a cabinet and an exposed second end that is shaped and dimensioned to sit outside of the cabinet when cabinet entry first end of the creeper is positioned within the cabinet for use. A downwardly extending leg assembly is secured along the bottom surface of the base support structure. The cabinet creeper may be used for accessing a cabinet or as a seat with the user sitting directly upon the downwardly extending leg assembly.
