Apparatus and methods for providing therapeutic treatment for symptoms associated with GERD and/or other digestive disorders and/or other medical conditions are described herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a support element that has a first end portion and a second end portion and a top surface disposed at an angle relative to a bottom surface of the support element. The second end portion has a height greater than the first end portion. A riser element is configured to be coupled proximate to the second end portion of the support element. A body element is configured to be disposed on at least one of the support element or the riser element. The body element has a first arm and a second arm connected together by an arc portion.

Patient support apparatus is known which include a bolster for supporting a person propped-up in bed to prevent that person from slipping down the bed. It is important, however, to be able to remove and/or deflate the bolster quickly if the patient needs urgent medical attention. The patient support apparatus herein comprises a sheet having a pocket, and an inflated bolster removably received therein, such that in use with the sheet arranged on the bed, the bolster is arrangeable between the person's pelvis and knees, wherein the inflated bolster includes an outer relatively low-friction sleeve for aiding the insertion and removal of the bolster into and out of the pocket, and wherein the bolster comprises a dump valve at one end thereof for rapid deflation of the bolster if necessary, the low-friction sleeve comprising a handle at one end thereof to aid removal of the bolster from the pocket.

A neck support is provided. The neck support includes a frame, a notch in a lower portion the frame, a strap connected to the frame, and at least one support material on a part of the strap and frame. The at least one support material and strap supporting a user's vertebrae and head. A method for aligning the spine is also provided.

A deployable footrest assembly for a seat is provided. The deployable footrest assembly comprises a footrest movable between a stowed position and a deployed position in which the footrest presents a first surface for an occupant of the seat to rest their feet upon, wherein the footrest is bendable about an upstanding structural support for the seat such that the footrest is bent about the structural support in the stowed position.

A travel leg restraint may include a single elongate member. The single elongate member may include a first upwardly facing concave contour about a first axis and dimensioned to receive a first leg of a user, a second upwardly facing concave contour about a second axis and dimensioned to receive a second leg of a user and a spacing wall between the first concave contour and the second concave contour so as to extend between the first leg and the second leg of the user. In one or more embodiments, the present invention provide a versatile travel pillow that provides support to the user's head, neck, and shoulders, prevents the user from sliding sideways with respect to the seat, can be quickly and easily secured to the headrest or armrest of a seat or chair, and can be quickly and easily moved from one vehicle seat to another.
