Columnar air moving devices, systems and methods
11221153 · 2022-01-11 · ·

An air moving system includes an air moving device including a housing member, a rotary fan assembly, and an opening for connection with an airflow duct, the housing including a plurality of air intake vents. A first volume of air can enter the housing through the opening and a second volume of air can enter the housing through the plurality of intake vents. The rotary fan assembly directs the first and second volumes of air.

Cyclone separation device

The cyclone separation device has a case (1), a space partition plate (7), and a cylindrical member (11). The case (1) is formed into a cylindrical shape and has a first intake port (4), an outflow port (6), and a second intake port (5). The first intake port (4) has a circumferential opening (2) circumferentially formed in a side surface on a side of the one end of the case (1), and a fixed blade (3) arranged along the circumferential opening (2). The outflow port (6) is disposed on a surface on the side of the one end and discharges the swirling airflow fed through the first intake port (4). The second intake port (5) is disposed on a side surface on a side of the other end opposite to the one end.

The present invention is directed to an exhaust vent assembly including a sleeve, a neck, a damper in the neck, a cap attached to the neck and a collar. The exhaust vent assembly may be configured without any tools and without any penetrative fasteners.

Wall-mounted suction ventilator
20210341159 · 2021-11-04 ·

A natural ventilator is herein disclosed that is free of moving parts, wind-activated, rain-proof, and free of dust or smog infiltration. It is not only suitable to be a standalone natural ventilator, but is also advantageous to be used as an enhanced exhaust exit in a forced-air ventilation system, for such enclosed spaces or objects as buildings and vehicles needing air relief. The ventilator assembly has rainwater-proof shapes or fixtures that serve to defend the vent system, and the interior space being vented, against rainwater invasion, even if raindrop trajectory becomes highly oblique from vertical as driven by strong winds. It also includes shapes or fixtures to prevent fume condensation from drifting outward and staining the exterior of a building or vehicle, or the like, that is being vented.

FOUNDATION VENT COVER

An apparatus and methods are provided for a foundation vent cover to be installed onto foundation ventilation openings of crawlspaces, garages, and buildings. The foundation vent cover comprises a mesh screen for covering a foundation vent opening and a supportive frame for retaining the mesh screen in an extended configuration over the foundation vent opening. The supportive frame may be made of a metal or any of various plastics. The mesh screen is made of a material that provides an aesthetically appealing appearance to the foundation opening while also allowing an optimal airflow through the foundation opening. The supportive frame includes holes to receive fasteners for attaching the foundation vent cover over the foundation opening. The fasteners may be wood screws, sheet metal screws, self-drilling screws, or threaded bolts and nuts. The holes may be counterbored or countersunk to hide at least a portion of the heads of the fasteners.
