The present invention provides a method for prefabricating, transporting, and rapidly assembling a portable, rigid, dome-shaped structure, with the structural integrity to enable the suspension of extensive hardware and supplies. Said structure would be shaped for acoustic purposes, extremely durable, and allow for extensive climate control. Said structure would be able to be fabricated in a wide range of sizes and shipped to remote locations.

Retractable structure for air-conditioning vent

A retractable structure for air-conditioning vent has a retractable mechanism capable of retractably installing a vane into an installing hole of a main body. The retractable mechanism includes a plurality of connecting plates on the main body, and an end of the connecting plates is limited on the main body, and the other end of the connecting plate is passed through a plug hole formed on the vane, and each connecting plate has a bracket on a corresponding side, and a middle portion of the bracket is coupled to the connecting plate, and a first bracket portion and a second bracket portion disposed on both sides of the middle portion of the bracket respectively are outwardly protruded and then inwardly bent to form a stopper portion to stop the plug hole from automatically sliding down.

EXHAUST VENT DOORS

A wall exhaust vent (e.g., for a dryer or other HVAC system) can include a housing defining a vent opening, and one or more bumpers on or at least partially within the housing and configured contact a door of the wall exhaust vent in a closed position. The one or more bumpers can include a bumper body, and a magnet disposed at least partially within the bumper body that is configured to magnetically interact with the door of the wall exhaust vent to bias the door to the closed position.

Methods and apparatus for providing an improved damper, boot and damper combination, and an improved HVAC duct system

A damper arrangement is described which moves dampers from a location closer to an air source to a boot located adjacent to a ceiling register, grill, or the like, thereby allowing technicians or owners to more readily make adjustments. A substantially flush boot collar mounting preserves leak free flow, and keeps insulation installation simple. An internal adjustment mechanism, such as a loop, avoids the need to pull the ceiling grill from the ceiling. Both insulation and subsequent adjustment are simplified.

Control of exhaust systems

Exhaust capture and containment are enhanced by means of automatic or manual side skirts, a sensitive breach detector based on interference effects, a combination of vertical and horizontal edge jets, and/or corner jets that are directed to the center diagonally from corners. Associated control functions are described.

A sleeping space air conditioner including a quiet low powered air conditioner 1, a sleeping space into which conditioned air is delivered, the sleeping space including an upper air pervious section 2 and a lower relatively air impervious section 3 surrounding a bed in the sleeping space, the impervious section 3 extending to a height above the sleeping surface of the bed sufficient to contain the conditioned air as it moves towards and returns from the opposite end or side of the sleeping space, the impervious section 3 extending to a sufficiently increased height above the sleeping surface at the opposite end or side to allow the direction of air flow to reverse towards said one end or side without substantial loss of conditioned air through the pervious section 2.

Air-conditioning device and method for controlling air-conditioning device

There are provided an air-conditioning device that can easily perform fan setting to obtain a proper air volume in accordance with external static pressure, and a method of controlling the air-conditioning device. There is executed air volume setting processing (S3 to S14) for measuring an actual rotation number (r_MAX) when a fan motor for driving an air blowing fan is set to a maximum output, and setting the rotation number corresponding to a target air volume of the air blowing fan under normal operation of the built-in type air-conditioning device.

Air conditioner unit including a heating unit

In accordance with one embodiment, an air conditioner unit is provided. The air conditioner unit includes a heater housing having peripheral surfaces defining a housing interior, the peripheral surfaces including a first sidewall and a second sidewall spaced apart along the lateral direction. The air conditioner unit further includes a guide track extending along the lateral direction between the first sidewall and the second sidewall. The air conditioner unit further includes a blower fan, the blower fan including a blade assembly disposed within the interior and a motor connected to the blade assembly. The air conditioner unit further includes a heating unit comprising a first bracket and a second bracket spaced apart along the lateral direction. The heating unit further includes at least one heater bank extending along the lateral direction between the first bracket and the second bracket. The heating unit is movable along the guide track.

Building ventilation system

A ventilation system utilizing fans to bring air into a building and/or exhaust air out of the building powered at least in part by solar panels that can be quickly and easily mounted on the building, such as on roof vents, windows, and the like adjacent to the fans. A sensor may be operatively connected to a controller or logic circuit to measure environmental factors to determine whether to activate the fans. The ventilation system is configured to be a modular device with versatile fasteners for easy installment in windows, attics, or roof tops.

Ventilated athletic flooring systems and methods of assembling the same

A ventilated flooring system may generally include a base, a substructure, a top surface, a control box, an air mover, and a sensor. The base, the substructure, and the top surface may form a floor within which the sensor is disposed. The sensor may measure properties of air within the floor, sending measurements to the control box. The control box may activate and deactivate the air mover based on measurements from the sensor and control logic. In some examples, the air mover is connected to an HVAC system and routes air output from the HVAC system into the floor. Further, the ventilated flooring system may also include a second sensor for measuring ambient air, an alarm for providing notice of malfunctions, and/or networking capability that allows for remote monitoring of the system.
