AIR SHOWER APPARATUS
An air shower apparatus includes a plurality of blowers provided in a face portion, and a plurality of blowers provided in a face portion disposed to face the face portion. A suction port included in a blower is disposed to face a blow-out port included in a blower. In a set of the blower and the blower, the blower blows out a spiral airflow from the blow-out port, and the blower sucks the spiral airflow from the suction port. The air shower apparatus generates an air shower by a plurality of spiral airflows blown out from a plurality of blow-out ports.
AN ACTIVE AIRFLOW INHIBITING APPARATUS
An active airflow inhibiting apparatus for an entranceway comprises: a structure positioned adjacent an entranceway of a building and defines a passage therethrough for accessing the entranceway. The structure defines at least one plenum chamber and first and second outlet slots fluidically coupled to the plenum chamber. A fan fluidically connected to the plenum chamber supplies an airflow to the plenum chamber in order to selectively form a jet of air from the first outlet slot in a first mode of operation and from the second outlet slot in a second mode of operation The first and second outlet slots are configured so that the respective jets of air are each directed towards a centre of the structure, with the jet of air from the first outlet slot being directed away from the entranceway and the jet of air from the second outlet slot being directed towards the entranceway.
AN ACTIVE AIRFLOW INHIBITING APPARATUS
An active airflow inhibiting apparatus for an entranceway comprises: a structure positioned adjacent an entranceway of a building and defines a passage therethrough for accessing the entranceway. The structure defines at least one plenum chamber and first and second outlet slots fluidically coupled to the plenum chamber. A fan fluidically connected to the plenum chamber supplies an airflow to the plenum chamber in order to selectively form a jet of air from the first outlet slot in a first mode of operation and from the second outlet slot in a second mode of operation The first and second outlet slots are configured so that the respective jets of air are each directed towards a centre of the structure, with the jet of air from the first outlet slot being directed away from the entranceway and the jet of air from the second outlet slot being directed towards the entranceway.

A microbial ventilation device has a cone-shaped coandella and an air blower assembly. The air blower assembly includes a housing has a first end, a second end, and an air flow passage extending between the first and second ends. The air blower assembly further has an electric fan configured to draw air into the air flow passage through the first end and discharged the air from the air flow passage through the second end. The housing is disposed in relation to a bottom surface of the coandella such that the second end is spaced a distance from the bottom surface so that air discharged from the air flow passage impinges upon the bottom surface and is caused to flow along the bottom surface in a radial outward direction and then beyond a peripheral edge of the coandella creating an air dome of radially out flowing air.
MICROBIAL VENTILATION DEVICE
A microbial ventilation device has a cone-shaped coandella and an air blower assembly. The air blower assembly includes a housing has a first end, a second end, and an air flow passage extending between the first and second ends. The air blower assembly further has an electric fan configured to draw air into the air flow passage through the first end and discharged the air from the air flow passage through the second end. The housing is disposed in relation to a bottom surface of the coandella such that the second end is spaced a distance from the bottom surface so that air discharged from the air flow passage impinges upon the bottom surface and is caused to flow along the bottom surface in a radial outward direction and then beyond a peripheral edge of the coandella creating an air dome of radially out flowing air.
SYSTEM FOR CREATING A MICROENVIRONMENT WITHIN AN AMBIENT ENVIRONMENT
A system and method for creating a microenvironment within an ambient environment is disclosed. The first outlet is configured for expelling a gas at a first velocity sufficient for producing a gas curtain that separates the microenvironment from the ambient environment. The second outlet is configured for expelling the gas at a second velocity within the microenvironment. An inlet is spaced apart from the first outlet and the second outlet and is in fluid communication with a suction unit. The suction unit is positioned downstream of the inlet and configured for removing gas from the microenvironment through the inlet. The first velocity is greater than the second velocity.

Disclosed herein is an air curtain system including a plant cultivation device for air purification. The air curtain system includes: an air purification wall part forming a vertical body of the air curtain system and having a sidewall on which plants are planted, the air purification wall part drawing in air and filtering out pollutants including fine dust and ultrafine dust from the drawn-in air; an air curtain injection part forming a roof of the air curtain system and having an air discharge port formed along a periphery of the roof, the air curtain injection part receiving the air filtered through the air purification wall part and discharging the received air vertically downwards through the air discharge port; and an air suction part forming a floor of the air curtain system and having an air suction port formed along a periphery of the floor, the air suction part suctioning the air discharged through the air discharge port of the air curtain injection part.
