The damper assembly includes an outer shell surrounding an inner shell. A piston is at least partially positioned within the inner shell and moveable relative thereto. An active lock of the damper assembly includes a housing positioned within the outer shell. The housing defines a cavity and a housing channel extending from the cavity to an outer fluid channel. A shaft extends into the cavity and a valve assembly is attached to the shaft. The shaft is rotatable within the cavity between an unsealed position in which the housing channel is in fluid communication with the cavity, and a sealed position in which the valve assembly is rotationally aligned with the housing channel and obstructs fluid communication between the cavity and the housing channel.

A system and method for fastening protective barriers to solar panel systems includes a fastener system including a main clip that is coupled to a support clip and a wireform splice. The main clip and support clip of the fastener system are adapted to engage with a solar panel frame. Once engaged with the panel frame, a barrier, such as wire mesh, is placed adjacent to a front face of the main clip and the wireform splice may be coupled to the main clip and engaged with the barrier. The splice is used to secure the barrier to the faceplate. In one embodiment, the fastening devices may be placed in a spaced arrangement, and the barrier is coupled to each fastening device along the continuous run. In this way, a single section of barrier may be secured to the solar panel array system.

A photovoltaic support includes a first vertical upright column (110) and a second vertical upright column (120) on a foundation, and a beam (10) respectively hinged with a first end of the first vertical upright column (110) and a first end of the second vertical upright column (120). The photovoltaic support further includes a first movable connecting piece (140) provided on the foundation and connected with a second end of the first vertical upright column (110). The first movable connecting piece (140) is automatically adjusted according to the wind intensity, such that the first vertical upright column (110) moves in a vertical direction to adjust an inclination angle of the beam (130). The photovoltaic support can adjust the angle adaptively in the case of a strong wind, and restore automatically after the strong wind has passed.
