System for transport refrigeration control of multiple compartments
An example transport refrigeration system includes first and second refrigeration circuits configured to cool first and second transport compartments, respectively. An electric machine powers the first and second refrigeration circuits. A controller is configured to monitor a temperature of the electric machine, and reduce a cooling capacity of a selected one of the first and second refrigeration circuits based on the temperature exceeding a first threshold.
AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
An air-conditioning apparatus includes a low-pressure-side pressure sensor that detects the pressure of heat-source-side refrigerant that flows into a compressor and outputs it as a first detection value and a high-pressure-side pressure sensor that detects the pressure of heat-source-side refrigerant discharged from the compressor and outputs it as a second detection value. When switching the operation mode of the apparatus, a controller determines whether the ratio of the first detection value to the second detection value is higher than a first threshold. When the ratio is higher than the threshold, the controller causes a second refrigerant flow switching device to perform a switching operation. When the ratio is less than or equal to the threshold, the controller makes an adjustment such that an opening degree of an expansion device is less than a second threshold, and then causes the second refrigerant flow switching device to perform the switching operation.

Indoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus
An indoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus includes a controller that controls a refrigeration cycle, an up/down air flow direction plate, and a left/right air flow direction plate, based on information of a person whose image is captured by an imaging device. When the refrigeration cycle is stopped, in a case where the face of the person detected by the imaging device remains stationarily facing the imaging device for a preset recognition time, the controller recognizes the person as one wishing the refrigeration cycle to be activated, and activates the refrigeration cycle.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK MANAGEMENT
A refrigerant leak management system for a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system is disclosed. The system includes a controller communicatively coupled to one or more sensors disposed within the HVAC system. The controller measures a vibration pattern associated with a component of the HVAC system. The controller determines whether the vibration pattern is indicative of a refrigerant leak in the HVAC system. Additionally, the controller can modify operation of the HVAC system when the vibration pattern is indicative of the refrigerant leak in the HVAC system.
Hydrofluorocarbon detection device
