Portable refrigeration apparatus
The present application is related to a portable refrigeration apparatus for vaccines, food items, beverage containers, or any other item. The apparatus includes a refrigerated container comprised of a plurality of substantially identical chilling panels interconnected to form a sealed container that defines an internal volume, each of the chilling panels containing a cooling element. The refrigerated container encloses an internal storage space and has a generally modular design to facilitate packaging and transportation. The apparatus permits the internal storage space to maintain a temperature in the range of 4° C.˜8° C. for a long period of time following a loss of electrical power.
Beverage dispensers with heat exchangers
A method for cooling a mixed beverage formed with one or more beverage components includes circulating a refrigerant through a heat exchanger having a phase change material to cool a beverage component and sensing a temperature of the refrigerant. The method further includes detecting a first instance when the sensed temperature of the refrigerant equals a threshold refrigerant temperature, detecting a second instance when the sensed temperature of the refrigerant equals the threshold refrigerant temperature, and stopping circulation of the refrigerant when the second instance is detected.

MEASURING SYSTEM FOR FOODSTUFFS
A measuring system for automatically determining and/or monitoring the quality of a liquid or viscous foodstuff, including a housing with an interior space for a product container for the foodstuff, the product container has a product space for the foodstuff and a lid provided with a probe with a thermometer, a heating and cooling device for the interior space, a sensor device for determining a non-temperature quality-related parameter value of the foodstuff, and a control unit designed to control the measuring system, measure, store, process and/or export the measured parameter values, and to control the heating and/or the cooling system according to a desired time-temperature program. The cooling system includes a cold buffer, a cooler for the cold buffer, and a separate refrigerant circuit. The cold buffer includes a buffer holder with a phase-transition material, wherein the refrigerant circuit includes a cooling circuit with a pump.
REFRIGERATED RAILCAR SYSTEM
A refrigerated railcar system that is configured to have a plurality of reefers operably coupled thereto wherein the present invention provides improved electrical coupling of the reefers. The refrigerated railcar system of the present invention includes a plurality of railcars that are operable to have secured thereto reefers ranging from twenty to fifty-three feet. The railcars have a first end and a second end with an electrical junction box present at each end. A generator railcar is present in the system and is electrically coupled to an adjacent railcar present on opposing ends thereof. The generator railcars include subpanel modules and a wiring harness that are operable to electrically couple to electrical junction boxes present at opposing ends of the generator railcars. A platform is coupled to the container of the generator railcar and is configured to have the wiring harness secured underneath thereto.
