Miniature, multiple angle accessible, ultraviolet nail gel curing lamp and method of use
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to a miniature, multiple-angle accessible nail gel curing lamp that minimizes the size of a light exposure area, while at the same time providing access to the light exposure area for a customer's hand, and both of technician's hands. This lamp is particularly useful for performing the “gel-press on” technique of applying artificial nails with a UV-curable nail gel. Some embodiments include a base, a riser extending generally upward from the base, and a lamp head extending generally horizontally from the riser, where the lamp head is operatively connectable to a power source and comprises an ultraviolet light emitting diode (“UV LED”) configured to direct light emitted by the UV LED generally toward the base, thereby defining a light exposure area extending from the UV LED downward toward the base, and where an arc of access to the light exposure area is defined as an arc in a plane generally parallel to the UV LED and centered on the UV LED, so that the base, the riser and the lamp head are configured to allow unimpeded access of a user's hand to the light exposure area throughout the arc of access and where the arc of access is at least 180 degrees, and in some instances, at least 270 degrees.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FOOD DEHYDRATION
Embodiments herein include devices adaptable to dehydrate articles, including foods. Embodiments are shown which can be compacted for reduced storage, and/or shipping requirements and/or for other purposes. Embodiments include simple, inexpensive means for controlling dehydrating conditions, including airflow. Various article holding devices, including devices to hold foods being dehydrated, are also shown. Such devices include vertical, diagonal, and horizontal panels to secure articles. Embodiments shown have variations which include the use of non-motorized convection airflow, as well as devices which incorporate motor driven air movement means. Embodiments are shown which may be used for preparing articles, including foods, for dehydration, including slicing such articles.
Hearing aid dryer and disinfection kit with UV-reflective drying tray
A portable dryer and disinfection device includes a container having an interior for receiving one or more electronic components for drying and disinfection. A lid is configured to be removably secured to an upper portion of the container. An ultraviolet light source is attached to a bottom portion of the lid, wherein ultraviolet light generated by the ultraviolet light source is directed into the interior of the container below the lid. A power source is disposed in the lid for providing electrical power to the ultraviolet light source. A tray is disposed within the interior of the container on which the one or more electronic components are placed for drying and disinfection. The tray includes holes that provide air flow communication through the removable tray. A removable desiccant holder is disposed at least partially within the interior of the container below the tray.
ENHANCED FREEZE-DRY TRAY WITH DOUBLE SUBLIMATION FRONT AND INTEGRATED DRAINAGE SYSTEM FOR FASTER LYOPHILIZATION
The invention introduces a freeze-drying tray apparatus designed to optimize the freeze-drying process. The apparatus features a tray frame purposed to contain a slurry. Integral to this frame is a distinctive permeable tray bottom, fashioned from a sintered mesh. This mesh comprises a minimum of three layers, each with its unique porosity level. This design facilitates dual actions: the effective drainage of surplus water and the enabling of sublimation directly from the tray's bottom Enhancing the tray's structural integrity and functionality, a metal frame is seamlessly welded to this multi-layered sintered mesh, ensuring durability and efficiency in the freeze-drying process.
LIQUID REMOVAL DEVICE WITH ABSORBER DRUM AND RELATED METHODS
A liquid removal device is for removing a liquid from a surface. The liquid removal device includes a chassis comprising a handle and an absorber drum and an extractor drum both rotationally coupled with the chassis. The absorber drum includes a cylinder, where an absorbent layer is positioned on an outer drum surface of the absorber drum. The extractor drum includes a reservoir configured to retain the liquid absorbed from the surface, an outer extractor surface, and a plurality of apertures defined by the outer extractor surface in fluid communication with the reservoir. The extractor drum is movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, at least a first portion of the plurality of apertures are in contact with the absorbent layer. In the second position, the first portion of the plurality of apertures are not in contact with the absorbent layer.
Cosmetic makeup sponge/blender container
A cosmetic sponge drying and storage container has a plurality of components, including at least a first component and a second component, the first component being moveable with respect to the second component to position the container in at least an open condition and a closed condition. At least one of the first component or said second component is perforated with perforations. A cosmetic sponge may be placed within the container when in the open condition and the perforations provide at least 10% ventilation when the container is in the closed condition. Preferably, both the first and second components are perforated to provide for cross-ventilation. In addition, a base may be provided to support the first and second components, and most preferably the base may be perforated.
MULTIPURPOSE ULTRAVIOLET FLOOR CURING DEVICES
Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a multipurpose ultraviolet (UV) floor curing device. The device includes a mobile carriage, a UV panel, and a control device. The mobile carriage is configured to move on a floor applied with a photocurable coating. The UV panel is coupled to the mobile carriage and removably secures a plurality of radiation units configured to emit UV light of a predetermined intensity capable of curing the photocurable coating. The UV panel is configured to transition between a floor configuration and a non-floor configuration. The control device configured to drive the UV panel for the plurality of radiation units to project the UV light towards the ground substantially underneath the UV panel in the floor configuration and towards elevated surfaces proximate to the ground in the non-floor configuration.
