DRYER FOR DRYING A PANEL-SHAPED PRODUCT
A dryer for drying a strip or panel-shaped product, in particular gypsum board or veneer panels, having a plurality of tiers, having an outer and an inner housing and an inner housing separated from the outer housing by a first and second partition wall, having conveying devices for conveying the product, upper and lower nozzle boxes arranged transversely to the conveying direction and extend over the width of the conveying devices between the dividing walls, have in each case one inflow opening on one end assigned to the first separating wall and are closed on the other end assigned to the second partition wall. Nozzle openings for blowing out drying air are present at least on one side of the product passing through. The dryer includes at least on the first partition wall adjustable adjusting plates wherein the inflow openings of the upper and lower nozzle boxes can be adjusted.
System and method for an enhanced hair dryer
A system and method for an intelligent hair drying/styling apparatus with user information transmission and storage capabilities is herein provided. The hair drying/styling apparatus houses a control circuit board and an infrared or temperature sensor (or camera) in order detect an individual's hair condition moisture level to determine a user specific, customizable dryer setting. The information detected by the sensor is stored locally, on a proximal Internet-enabled device, or on a remote or cloud-based server and accessed by the hair drying/styling apparatus through a wireless local area network connectivity function. Accordingly, a user's hair temperature-drying profile may be stored and later recalled to provide optimal hair styling setting customized for that user. This innovation will enable any number of hair professionals and or end consumers to improve styling and dry time. Such a profile may contain a proprietary V-Factor calculation that will, among other applications, correspond to the use of a coordinated and optimized hair spray solution. According to the present invention, energy usage is reduced to enable a more efficient design.
Methods for Maintaining a Metered Flow Rate of Fluid Treated Seed
A stream of seed may be maintained at a metered flow rate through multiple stages of a treatment process. These multiple stages include dispensing, first application of fluid, second application of fluid, and seed transport. Seed transport may be accomplished through a conveyor configured to maintain the metered flow rate while providing static mixing, drying, and conditioning of the treated seed. The metered stream of seed may be treated within a first treatment applicator where a first wet treatment is applied, transferred through the incline conveyor, and treated again within a second treatment applicator where a second wet treatment is applied. Overtreating in multiple stages may layer consecutive seed treatments around the treated seed. A predetermined amount of seed treatment may be applied to the coated seed based on the metered flow rate established. Maintaining the metered flow rate through multiple stages eliminates the need for multiple metering steps.
Arrangement for cleaning vehicle tires
An arrangement for cleaning the tires of a vehicle is described herein. The arrangement includes a gutter arrangement a strip arrangement and a brush mat arrangement on its upper surface. At one end of the arrangement is a nozzle arrangement that sprays or otherwise applies water onto the tire. The strip arrangement applies water to the tire and vibrates the tire to remove contaminants. The brush mat arrangement both cleans the tire and removes water from its surface. The water as well as the dirt and dust that has come off the tires accumulate in a collection basin under the brush mat arrangement. The arrangement is suitable for interiors of structures.
Nozzle plates for a carpet dryer
A nozzle system for a carpet drying machine includes two or more planar diffusion plates each having a manifold side and a carpet side. The diffusion plates each include a plurality of apertures traversing from the manifold side to the carpet side. Each aperture is wider at the manifold side than at the carpet side so as to define a concentrating nozzle through the diffusion plate. Preferably the concentrating nozzles of each diffusion plate flare outwardly progressively increasingly from the carpet side of the diffusion plate to the manifold side of the diffusion plate. As such, with the two or more diffusion plates mounted in two or more manifolds of the carpet drying machine, with the manifold side of the diffusion plate facing away from the carpet web, hot air blown into the manifolds is concentrated into a laminar flow towards the carpet web to dry the carpet web.
Gas knife using parallelogram flow
In one aspect of the present disclosure is a method of contactlessly urging, directly, or moving a substance on the surface of a substrate, the method employing a gas knife (300) configured to produce a gas curtain having parallelogram flow.
Seed flow chamber for seed conditioning, processing, and drying in a treatment system
A seed flow chamber for handling seed and grain commodity, especially for use with a seed treatment applicator. Seed flow is received through an upper inlet opening configured to receive a flow of seed and discharged through a lower discharge opening. A diverging guide member splits the seed flow. A converging guide member disposed below the diverging guide member reunites the seed flow prior to discharge. The converging member has a downward sloping surface and an air vent, such as a plurality of airflow apertures connected to a plenum. The air vent is configured to communicate with an air supply. A vacuum vent—disposed below the diverging guide member—is configured to communicate with a vacuum source. A fan system recirculates air between the air vent and the vacuum vent. Dehumidifier may condition the air supply to assist with drying.
VACUUM DRYER NOT REQUIRING VACUUM PUMP

SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS WITH DRYING CYCLE
The present disclosure provides a surface cleaning apparatus that includes a recovery system that extracts liquid and debris with a drying cycle in which forced air flows through a recovery pathway of the recovery system to dry out components that remain wet and/or retain moisture after normal operation of the apparatus. The post-operation drying cycle can dry out components such as an agitator or brushroll, a brush chamber, a suction nozzle, a recovery tank, a filter, and any of the various conduits, ducts, and/or hoses fluidly coupling components of the recovery system together.
