Air curtain generating device
An air curtain generating device includes: a plurality of pairs of an air jet unit and an air suction unit placed opposite each other on both sides in a lateral direction of an inlet/outlet of a drying chamber, the plurality of the pairs being aligned up and down, the air suction units sucking air ejected from the air jet units to generate an air curtain; a first air guide provided to the air jet units in an upper part of the inlet/outlet to guide air ejected from the air jet units in a direction inclined inward of the drying chamber relative to the lateral direction of the inlet/outlet; and a second air guide provided to the air jet units in a lower part of the inlet/outlet to guide air ejected from the air jet units in a direction inclined outward of the drying chamber relative to the lateral direction.
Foam Drying Apparatus
A foam drying apparatus is provided. The apparatus is configured to pass air, and in some cases heated and/or dried air, through a quantity of foam. This air passing through the foam absorbs or otherwise carries moisture out of the foam, drying it. The apparatus may utilize a pressure differential on opposite sides of the foam, causing air on the higher pressure side to pass through the foam. Typical applications may include the drying of foam assemblies which use water based adhesives to accelerate drying of the adhesive and/or removal of water from the foam assembly, and packaging of the foam assembly.
MODULAR AERATION SYSTEM
An aeration system for aerating particulate material disposed in a storage bin. The aeration system includes an aerator forming an elongated hollow body for being placed inside the storage bin such that a longitudinal axis thereof is oriented substantially vertical and an air supply duct connected to the aerator for providing the airflow thereto. The aerator enables an airflow therein along the longitudinal axis and provides the same to the particulate material. The aerator is made of a plurality of modular sections adapted for being stacked upon each other along the longitudinal axis. Each modular section has a bottom connecting element and a top connecting element placed at a bottom end and a top end thereof, respectively, with the top connecting element being mated with the respective bottom connecting element of an adjacent modular section. Each modular section has a conduit enabling the airflow along the longitudinal axis. At least an opening is disposed in the conduit of at least one modular section for providing the airflow to the particulate material. The at least an opening is covered by a cover extending from the conduit downwardly and outwardly.
Body drier for shower or bath
The invention relates to a body drier for a shower or bath, formed by a column which longitudinally defines a channel (6) on the inside thereof, said channel becoming progressively narrower from the upper part to the lower part, with a distribution of diffusion openings (7) for the outflow of air on the front part and an opening (8) on the upper part, in relation to which a mouth element (9) is arranged, to which the air outlet of a fan (10) is coupled.
WATER EXTRACTION FACILITY
A water extraction facility comprising a suction box having a suction opening and a chamber (9) arranged above the suction opening by means of a connector (21) and a perforated sheet metal element (24) creating head loss is mounted in the connector (21).
System and method for internal pressurized gas drying of concrete
A system and method are disclosed for lowering the internal relative humidity inside of a concrete structure by applying a pressurized gas and forcing such pressurized gas into the concrete structure, in turn driving moisture in the pores of the concrete to the exterior of the structure. Pressurized gas is supplied to a network of sealed cavities extending into the face of the concrete structure, ultimately causing the gas to move into the concrete structure through pores and capillaries through the structure, in turn driving moisture in the concrete structure toward the surface. Optionally, a competitive inhibiting agent, such as lithium nitrate, may also be provided to stabilize the concrete structure against future deleterious expansions caused by moisture uptake in the existing ASR gel.
Apparatus and method for a dryer
A dryer adapted for use in an asphalt plant. The dryer comprises a drum having an inner wall and a plurality of flights, each of which is disposed on the inner wall of the drum and each of which has a proximal end and a distal end spaced apart from the proximal end. At least one of the plurality of flights comprises a V-shaped notch. A method for drying components of asphalt comprising drying the components of asphalt in the drum of such a dryer.
Treatment installation and method for treating workpieces
In order to provide a treatment installation for treating workpieces that is of simple construction and enables optimised workpiece treatment, it is proposed that the treatment installation should include a treatment chamber and a conveying device, by means of which the workpieces are suppliable to the treatment chamber, are removable from the treatment chamber, and/or are conveyable through the treatment chamber in a conveying direction.
Automatic Electrode Drying Control System and Automatic Electrode Drying Control Method
A system for automatically controlling an electrode drying includes: an oven which provides a space where an electrode sheet is moved and dried, includes a dryer which applies hot air and/or radiant heat to the electrode sheet, and is divided into a plurality of drying sections; a measuring unit which collects information on a dried amount of the electrode sheet and transmits the collected information to a controller; and the controller which determines a dried level of the electrode sheet based on the information on the dried amount received from the measuring unit, and control a drying intensity of the oven according to the determined dried level. Herein, the controller independently controls the plurality of drying sections.
Device Adapted to Maintain Form and Assist in Drying of a Glove
An insert maintains the form of a glove while facilitating drying. The insert has palm, finger, and thumb portions. The palm portion is a planar or curved flange, having first and second sides. The finger portion includes an index finger flange, a middle finger flange, a ring finger flange, and a pinky finger flange, each extending from the palm portion. A first peripheral flange and a second peripheral flange are each configured to respectively extend away from, and be in continuous proximity to, a periphery formed by the first side and the second side of the palm portion and the finger flanges. First and second transverse flanges are formed for each of the finger flanges, each configured to extend away from first and second sides thereof, and be substantially centered on the finger flange, to provide eight radiused points of a contact/support being substantially equally spaced, for each glove finger.
