A rack for storing equipment gear and methods for using the same are provided. In one embodiment, the equipment gear rack includes a base with a plurality of structural members for storing and displaying an equipment gear set. The plurality of structural members may include a helmet display member with an angled protruding body for supporting a head piece. In other embodiments, the equipment gear rack may also include a pair of protruding arm members for storing gloves and a hook member for hanging equipment gear.

The actuating array is in mechanical communication with the arms, the legs and the head. The actuating array urges each of the arms, the first legs and the head to move with respect to the torso. Thus, the mannequin may mimic human motion. Each of the arms, the first legs and the head position the articles of clothing in a selected pose. Thus, the mannequin may enhance an appearance of the articles of clothing.

An apparatus for support and display of a sports memorabilia jersey features a body form having an upper body portion with an outline visually resembling a head, neck and shoulders of a human body, and a transparent facial area comprising a facial likeness or team logo of a particular athlete associated with said sports memorabilia jersey. A method of producing such apparatus includes obtaining a facial image of an athlete associated with said memorabilia jersey, obtaining an outline shape of said facial image at a generally life-size scale, producing the body form with the head, neck and shoulder areas, and applying the facial image onto the head area of the body form such that a perimeter shape of the head area of the body form generally conforms to the outline shape of the facial image.

A mannequin pose control computer-implemented method, system, and computer program product, includes reading clothing data of an article of clothing on a mannequin, determining a pose for the mannequin by associating the clothing data with a record in a database that includes the pose for the mannequin, and changing a current pose of the mannequin to match the pose for the mannequin based on the record in the database.
