Industrial kiln
An industrial kiln employs a tunnel kiln design. An upper portion of a central high-temperature firing region of a kiln body (1) has an arch structure, and is divided into a rising portion (4), a middle portion (5), and a descending portion (6). The rising portion (4), the middle portion (5), and the descending portion (6) are connected by means of curved surfaces with smooth transitions. A transporting mechanism (2) at a lower portion of the kiln body (1) is parallel to the upper portion. The present invention enables collection of excessive heat in a pre-heating portion and a cooling portion to transfer the same to a high-temperature firing portion, thus reducing a firing time and burning fuels of a high-temperature firing region, lowering a production cost, and protecting the environment by preventing exhaustion of a large amount of hot air.
Method and furnace installation for heat treating metal strip
A method for heat-treating a metal strip, where the metal strip is pre-heated continuously in a pre-heating zone with the aid of hot gas and subsequently undergoes further heat treatment in a directly fired furnace in a reducing and/or oxidizing atmosphere. The metal strip is pre-heated in the pre-heating zone with hot inert gas and further heated with an electric heating system before entering the directly fired furnace. A furnace plant for implementing the process and a related heat recovery system are also disclosed.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING CEMENT CLINKER
A bypass system may be utilized in installations and methods for producing cement clinker. A portion of a kiln offgas produced in a kiln may be branched off as bypass gas via a bypass line connected between the kiln and a calciner. In some cases 3 to 15% of the kiln offgas is branched off as the bypass gas. The bypass gas may be cooled to a temperature in a range from 300 to 550° C. and dedusted in a temperature range from 300 to 550° C. The dedusted bypass gas may then be recirculated to the calciner and/or into a tertiary air line arranged between the cooler and the calciner and/or into a region between the kiln and the calciner.
HIGH-TEMPERATURE FLUID TRANSPORTING PIPELINE WITH HEAT EXCHANGE APPARATUS INSTALLED THEREIN, SUITABLE HEAT EXCHANGE APPARATUS AND HEAT EXCHANGE METHOD
The present invention discloses a high-temperature fluid transporting pipeline with a heat exchange apparatus installed therein, a suitable heat exchange apparatus and a heat exchange method, wherein heat contained in a high-temperature fluid can be recovered during the transportation thereof. The heat exchange apparatus comprises a heat exchange body inserted into the high-temperature fluid transporting pipeline, and a heat-receiving fluid coil installed therein. The method of heat exchange is that the high-temperature fluid heats an auxiliary fluid in a heat exchange cavity via a heat exchange panel of the heat exchange body in contact therewith, and the heated auxiliary fluid then conducts the heat to a heat-receiving fluid in the heat-receiving fluid coil. As an example, the high-temperature fluid is flue gas generated by combustion, the heat exchange apparatus of the present invention is inserted into a flue gas transporting pipeline, the auxiliary fluid is an inert gas such as air, and the air heated indirectly by the high-temperature flue gas conducts heat to fuel and/or oxygen-enriched gas (serving as an oxidant/combustion aid) flowing in the heat-receiving fluid coil.
Dross management system and method
A dross processing assembly includes a stirring station at which dross in a first dross recovery vessel is stirred and a pressing station at which previously stirred dross in a second dross recovery vessel is pressed simultaneously with the stirring of the dross in the first dross recovery vessel. The stirring station and the pressing station may be commonly housed in an enclosure. A conveyor system may advance dross recovery vessels through the dross processing assembly for continuous dross processing.
Cassette design drop out box, combustion chamber, duct and electric arc furnace upper shell system
An enclosure of a steel-making furnace system includes a support structure including a frame that defines an interior, a supply line for supplying a cooling liquid from a reservoir, and a return line fluidly coupled to the supply line and the reservoir. A plurality of panels includes sinuously winding piping having an inlet and an outlet. The inlet is fluidly coupled to the supply line and the outlet is fluidly coupled to the return line. The frame includes a plurality of support members spaced from one another, where each of the plurality of support members defines a slot. Each of the plurality of panels is removably and slidably received with the slot for coupling to the frame.
WOOD-BURNING OVEN
The invention relates to wood-burning ovens and may be used for preparing food, in particular, baked items, for example, pizza.
Thermal chamber exhaust structure and method
An exhaust structure includes an intake section which includes an inlet, an output section which includes an outlet, and a piping section coupled to the intake section and the output section at a section interface. The piping section includes a first inner diameter from the intake section to the output section, wherein one of the intake section or the output section has a second inner diameter at the section interface. The second inner diameter includes a same value as a value of the first inner diameter. A plurality of smoothing layers are configured to resist turbulence and condensation produced by a flow of one or more gasses in the intake section, the output section, and the piping section.
Melting apparatus for the production of steel
A melting apparatus for steel production includes a support structure to support a shell for the production and tapping of steel, and a source or zone for the emission of fumes resulting from the tapping of the steel from the shell. The melting apparatus also includes a tapping hood integrated into the support structure and provided with a suction mouth positioned directly above the zone for the emission of fumes, the shell is provided with a bottom wall in which an E.B.T. is provided for tapping the steel.
ENHANCEMENT OF THERMOCHEMICAL REGENERATION OPERATION
A combustion method in which heated flue gas heats a regenerator through which a mixture of fuel and flue gas is then passed to undergo endothermic reactions that produce syngas which is fed into a furnace together with a motive gas stream, wherein fuel is combusted with the motive gas stream to provide heat in alternate cycles.
