In a heater unit for a carburizing furnace that carburizes a workpiece, a heater that heats a furnace atmosphere; and a heater supporting member that reflects radiant heat of the heater are provided, in which a heat generation part of the heater is attached to the heater supporting member, and a heat generation body composing the heat generation part is formed in a bellows shape.

COUPLING AND ROTOR SHAFT FOR MOLTEN METAL DEVICES

A coupling has an opening and a protrusion extending downward from the opening. The protrusion has threads that are preferably positioned outside of the opening. A rotor shaft that connects to the coupling has an internal bore with threads that receives and retains the protrusion, such as by a threaded connection between the two, so the protrusion applies driving force to the shaft.

Method and system for furnace sealing

The present invention relates generally to furnace systems and more particularly, but not by way of limitation, to a split-ring assembly for sealing a junction between a catalyst tube and a furnace. In one aspect, the present invention relates to a ring-seal assembly. The ring-seal assembly includes a housing ring coupled to an outer surface of a furnace. The housing ring is disposed around a circumference of a tube proximate a junction with the furnace. The ring seal assembly further includes a brush seal that is at least partially disposed within the housing ring. The brush seal is disposed around the circumference of the tube. A plurality of brushes extend radially inwardly from the brush seal towards the tube.

Multi-burner head assembly

In various implementations, a multi-burner head assembly may include a venturi inlet coupled to burner heads. The multi-burner head assembly may allow control of the flame profile generated by the assembly. For example, burner heads of the multi-burner head assembly may include different characteristics, such as height.

DEVICE FOR INDIRECT HEATING BY RADIATION IN THE FORM OF A RADIANT HOUSING
20190346132 · 2019-11-14 · ·

The present disclosure relates to a device for indirect heating by radiation in the form of a radiant housing having two front walls and two side walls and comprising at least one heat source, the radiant housing having front walls joining one another such that the housing has a lenticular shape in cross-section.

Method and system for heating direct reduced iron (DRI) between a DRI source and processing equipment for the DRI

A method of heating direct reduced iron between a direct reduced iron source and processing equipment for the direct reduced iron, comprises providing a conduit heater assembly between the direct reduced iron source and the processing equipment, wherein the conduit heater assembly receives a flow of the direct reduced iron from the direct reduced iron source and heats the direct reduced iron as the direct reduced iron flows through the conduit heater assembly and to the processing equipment.
