The present invention relates to a heat exchanger and, specifically, to a heat exchanger comprising: a core portion in which cooling water is stored and flows; an upper reinforcing plate coupled to the upper end of the core portion, having an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe connected to the core portion, and having a joining portion for fixation; a lower reinforcing plate coupled to the lower end of the core portion; a first support portion which is coupled to one lengthwise side of the lower surface of the lower reinforcing plate and can absorb vibration; and a second support portion which is coupled to the other lengthwise side of the lower surface of the lower reinforcing plate and can absorb vibration, so that the core portion can be firmly coupled to a housing and the durability of the heat exchanger to vibration of a vehicle is improved.
FLEXIBLE THERMAL CONNECTION STRUCTURE
A flexible temperature control system absorbs and dissipates heat includes a flexible member having a thermal conductor wound with a substantially constant spacing separation and a uniform pitch that encloses a cooling passage that extends therethrough. The thermal conductor has a plurality of side openings. An upper case and a lower case connect the flexible member and include a heat dissipating layer formed of aromatic crystal of carbon atoms linked together in a hexagonal lattice. The cooling passage encloses a foam layer that includes void mediums that increase the thermal conductivity between an upper interfacing element distant from a lower interfacing element.
SUPPORTS WITH INTEGRATED SENSORS FOR NUCLEAR REACTOR STEAM GENERATORS, AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Supports with integrated sensors for nuclear reactor steam generators, and associated systems and methods, are disclosed. A representative method for forming a nuclear-powered steam generator includes forming an instrumented support, the instrumented support including a carrier portion and a retainer portion, with at least one of the carrier portion or the retainer portion being integrally formed with a sensor via an additive manufacturing process. The method can further include coupling the sensor to a communication link, supporting a helical steam conduit on the instrumented support, and installing the helical steam conduit and the instrumented support in a nuclear reactor. The helical steam conduit is positioned along a primary flow path, which is in turn positioned to circulate a heated primary flow in thermal communication with the helical steam conduit.
WATER BLOCK REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE
A water block reinforcement structure includes a substrate and a cover body mated with the substrate to define a heat exchange chamber therebetween. At least one radiating fin assembly and at least one reinforcement section are disposed in the heat exchange chamber. The reinforcement section has an upper end connected with the inner face of the cover body by a connection means.
MULTI-FLUID HEAT EXCHANGER

The heat exchanger further includes a plurality of vanes that extend generally circumferentially between the first wall manifold and the second wall manifold. The heat exchanger further includes a plurality of fluid circuits defined within the heat exchanger. Each fluid circuit in the plurality of fluid circuits includes an inlet channel portion and an outlet channel portion defined within the first wall manifold. A return channel portion defined within the second wall manifold. At least one passage portion of a plurality of passage portions defined within each vane of the plurality of vanes. The at least one passage portion extends between the return channel portion and one of the inlet channel portion and the outlet channel portion.
FLUID COOLER FOR A GAS TURBINE ENGINE
A fluid cooler for a gas turbine engine comprises an outer tube having an outer tube inlet at a first end of the fluid cooler and an outer tube outlet at a second end of the fluid cooler. A primary axis of the fluid cooler is defined within the outer tube between the first and second ends of the fluid cooler. A plurality of inner tubes extend within the outer tube between the first second ends of the fluid cooler. The inner tubes have a common inner tube inlet and a common inner tube outlet. The inner tubes extend helically about the primary axis. A first group of the inner tubes are disposed at a first radius from the primary axis and a second group of the inner tubes are disposed at a second radius from the primary axis, the second radius different from the first radius.
End cap for panel assembly of an HVAC system
A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a panel assembly having a first face and a second face terminating in a corner. The HVAC system also includes an end cap having a first surface and a second surface that are joined at a vertex. The end cap extends over the corner of the panel assembly such that the first surface of the end cap extends along the first face and the second surface of the end cap extends along the second face. The end cap includes a rib extending from the vertex and into a slot formed at the corner between the first face and the second face.
HEAT EXCHANGER WITH MULTISTAGED COOLING
Embodiments described herein relate to a heat exchanger for abating compounds produced in semiconductor processes. When hot effluent flows into the heat exchanger, a coolant can be flowed to walls of a fluid heat exchanging surface within the heat exchanger. The heat exchanging surface can include a plurality of channel regions which creates a multi stage cross flow path for the hot effluent to flow down the heat exchanger. This flow path forces the hot effluent to hit the cold walls of the fluid heat exchanging surface, significantly cooling the effluent and preventing it from flowing directly into the vacuum pumps and causing heat damage. Embodiments described herein also relate to methods of forming a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger can be created by sequentially depositing layers of thermally conductive material on surfaces using 3-D printing, creating a much smaller footprint and reducing costs.
