Tool-Less Apparatus And Methods For Sealing The Flow Of Cooling Fan Air To A Heat Exchanger
Tool-less apparatus and methods are provided for sealing flow of cooling air from the outlet of a cooling fan blower to the inlet of a heat exchanger within a chassis enclosure of an information handling system. The disclosed apparatus and methods may be implemented in a tool-less manner by employing tool-less chassis mounting features that mate with tool-less cooling fan mounting features to mechanically align and secure an air outlet of a cooling fan blower in sealing relationship with an air inlet of a heat exchanger within a chassis enclosure of an information handling system by properly aligning the axes of a cooling fan in relation to the inlet of the heat exchanger so that in on embodiment no gap exists between the cooling air outlet of the cooling fan and the cooing air inlet of the heat exchanger.
HOT WATER DEVICE
A hot water device includes a heat exchanger and an apparatus to which the heat exchanger is to be connected. First and second cases for the heat exchanger and the apparatus to which the heat exchanger is to be connected include first and second flange portions laid over each other and welded together. The first and second flange portions are each demarcated into a corner flange portion corresponding to one of first and second corner portions, and into a non-corner flange portion other than the corner flange portion. The non-corner flange portions protrude more to the outside of the first and second cases than the corner flange portions.
MACHINE SYSTEM HAVING COOLER WITH PACK SEAL AND HEADER ASSEMBLY FOR SAME
A machine system includes a compressor, and a cooler having an inlet tank to receive compressed air from the compressor, and a header assembly attached to the inlet tank and including a plurality of cooling tubes supported in the header and each having an external heat exchange surface exposed to a flow of cooling air. The cooler further includes a plurality of graphite pack seals each extending peripherally around one of the cooling tubes, and a clamping assembly clamping the pack seals against the header to squeeze the pack seals into sealing contact with the cooling tubes and the header.
HEAT EXCHANGER FOR A TURBOMACHINE AND MANUFACTURING THEREOF
An annular heat exchanger with a longitudinal axis for a turbomachine, intended for example to be supported by an annular shell of a casing of the turbomachine, includes a one-piece annular part having a first fluidic circuit having at least one first conduit and at least one second conduit extending annularly and a second fluidic circuit having at least one first conduit and at least one second conduit extending annularly and arranged in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction on either side of the first conduit and second conduit of the first circuit.
Bypass seal for plate heater matrix
A heat exchanger for a motor vehicle includes a seal and a core. The core includes a first groove formed in a first side and a second groove formed in an opposing second side. The first groove and the second groove are each configured to receive a portion of the seal to secure the seal to the core. The seal includes a cross member and a pair of uprights extending from opposing ends of the cross member, wherein the cross member and the uprights each include a sealing element. The uprights further include a rail extending from the upright and configured to be received in the groove of the core. The core further includes an integrated shear panel formed at opposing ends thereof.
INTAKE MANIFOLD WITH IN-BUILT HEAT EXCHANGER
Disclosed is an air intake manifold including a heat exchanger built into its body and including at least two ducts for supplying and removing heat-exchange liquid, the ducts extending through the wall of the body of the manifold with a liquid-tight seal and an airtight seal, which are distinct and mutually offset along the longitudinal axis of the relevant duct being created on each of the ducts. The unit creating the liquid tight seal is arranged between the relevant duct and a circulation pipe connected to the free end of the duct. The unit creating the airtight seal is positioned between the relevant duct and the body of the distributor. A leakage path associated with the liquid-tight seal is created between the latter and the airtight seal.
Heat exchange device
A heat exchange device includes a housing having an opening on one side, and a heat exchange core body. The heat exchange device also includes a connection block provided with a first channel, a second channel, a first interface, and a second interface. The connection block is also provided with a first socket of the first channel, and a first socket of the second channel. The heat exchange core body includes at least one flat tube. At least one part of one end of the flat tube extends into the first socket of the first channel and is mounted in a sealed manner with the first socket of the first channel, and at least one part of the other end of the flat tube extends into the first socket of the second channel and is mounted in a sealed manner with the first socket of the second channel.
Heating device
The exhaust duct includes an exhaust collecting portion connected a heat exchanger and an exhaust guiding portion communicating with the exhaust collecting portion and extended upward in a state close to a side of a cylindrical body of the heat exchanger. The exhaust collecting portion includes a connection opening constituting an inner peripheral wall, into which a cylindrical outlet side connection portion at the lower end of the heat exchanger is fitted, and a groove provided on an outer peripheral side than the inner peripheral wall of the connection opening. The packing includes a seal portion sandwiched in a compressed state between the inner peripheral wall of the connection opening in the exhaust collecting portion and an outer peripheral wall of the cylindrical outlet side connection portion in the heat exchanger to constitute a seal and an anchor portion inserted into the groove of the exhaust collecting portion.
Cooling device
A cooling device having a centrifugal pump directly mounted on a radiator. An annular seal member is disposed between the bottom portion of the case body of the centrifugal pump and the side surface of the tank chamber of the radiator, and the annular seal member is used for preventing the cooling medium leakage via a space between the centrifugal pump and the tank chamber. The cylindrical portion of the case body and the annular seal member are overlapped with each other in the axial direction of the rotation center shaft of the motor that drives the centrifugal pump, in order that the cylindrical portion can receive at least a part of the reaction force of the annular seal member crushed between the case body and the tank chamber, and thereby the bottom portion of the case body of the centrifugal pump is prevented from deformation.
Heat exchanger closure assemblies and methods of using and installing the same
A heat exchanger assembly including an elongated tubular heat exchanger enclosure defining an interior chamber. A tube sheet is positioned within the interior chamber of the heat exchanger enclosure separating the interior chamber into a shell side and a channel side. The interior portion is configured to removably receive a tube bundle positioned within the shell side of the interior chamber. An annular sleeve member is positioned within the channel side of the interior chamber of the heat exchanger enclosure. An annular elastic torsion member is positioned within the channel side of the interior chamber of the heat exchanger such that the sleeve member is positioned between the tube sheet and the elastic torsion member.
