Slide assembly quick release pin with arm extension
A slide assembly quick release pin and arm that secure a recoil assembly within a slide. The pin is inserted through a pair of apertures in a front portion of the slide and through a bore in the nose portion of the recoil assembly aligned between the apertures. As the pin secures the recoil assembly within the slide an arm attached to the end of the pin rests in a recess, flush to the body of the slide in a locked orientation. The pin arm is rotated from a locked orientation within the recess in the assembled configuration to an unlocked orientation out of the recess before the firearm is disassembled. Additionally, the arm acts as a handle for grasping and rotating to provide a mechanical advantage when a user is removing or inserting the pin into the apertures and bore.
Linear locking barrel system for firearm
A linear locking barrel system for a firearm may include a frame, a slide movably mounted on the frame and defining a barrel channel, a barrel at least partially positioned in the barrel channel of the slide and being movable with respect to the frame and slide along a linear path, and a locking member configured to lock movement of the slide with the barrel for at least a portion of rearward recoil movement of the barrel. The locking member has an engaged condition in which the locking member locks the barrel and slide together and a disengaged condition in which the locking member releases the slide from the barrel during rearward recoil movement.
Firearm accessory mount
A firearm accessory includes a firearm attachment portion that is configured to attach to a firearm. The firearm attachment portion defines a barrel passage that defines a barrel passage axis. The barrel passage is configured to receive at least a portion of a firearm barrel. The firearm accessory includes an accessory mounting portion that is pivotally attached to the firearm attachment portion. The accessory mounting portion is movable between an open position and a closed position. When in the open position, the accessory mounting portion is positioned away from the barrel passage, and when in the closed position, the accessory mounting portion is positioned at least partially around the barrel passage.
Double-barrelled gun and two-row magazine
The present invention relates to a gun (1) with a pair of barrels (6, 6) flanking each other, each delimiting a cartridge chamber (12, 12). The gun further comprises a pair of firing pin tips (8, 8) for a cartridge (10, 10), movable towards the cartridge chambers (12, 12) by means of a firing device operated by a trigger (4, 4); such device acts on the firing pin tips to allow a substantially simultaneous advancement thereof. The invention also relates to a two row magazine for a double barrelled gun.
Cam pin
A cam pin having a cam pin shaft, wherein said shaft extends from a terminal end surface, along a longitudinal axis, to a shoulder; a firing pin aperture formed through said cam pin shaft; and a head, wherein said head extends from said shoulder, along said longitudinal axis, to a crown, wherein a surface of said crown is finished with a substantially smooth surface.
Firearm with an improved arming member
A firearm (1) comprising a firing mechanism. (600) comprising a trigger (601), a firing pin (6), a locking element (7) of the firing pin (6). The firearm comprises an arming device (10) comprising transmission means (50) connected to the trigger (601) and an arming member (100) comprising a plurality of engagement elements (151, 156, 157) suitable for engaging the transmission means (50) and/or the firing pin (6) and/or the locking element (7). The arming member (100) comprises: a) a firing pin operating body (110) for engagement with the firing pin (6); b) a lock operating body (120) for engagement with the transmission means (50) and with the locking element (7) of the firing pin (6), wherein the firing pin operating body (110) is engageable in rotation by the lock operating body (120) to be moved in rotation.
Recoil spring for a firearm
A firearm includes a receiver for housing a trigger mechanism. The receiver is attached to a firearm barrel, and the receiver includes a bolt carrier that is configured to reciprocate therein. The firearm includes a recoil spring that has a first end and a second end, and the first end interfaces with the bolt carrier. The recoil spring further includes a dampened portion positioned between the first and second ends. The dampened portion has a plurality of dead spring coils. The firearm also includes a spring retainer that is configured to retain the recoil spring within the firearm.
Semi-automatic rimfire rifle
Semi-automatic rimfire rifles have a frame, a bolt operable to reciprocate within the frame, the bolt defining a bolt axis, the bolt defining a firing pin passage, a first firing pin portion received within at least a first portion of the firing pin passage, a second firing pin portion separate from the first firing pin portion received within at least a second portion of the firing pin passage, and the first firing pin portion being operable to contact the second firing pin portion such that the second firing pin portion discharges a cartridge in response to the first firing pin portion being struck by a hammer. The first firing pin portion may define a first firing pin axis aligned with the bolt axis. The second firing pin portion may have a nose portion that is offset from the bolt axis extending away from the first firing pin portion.
Reciprocally-cycled weapon
A reciprocally-cycled weapon delinks and fires cartridges in open-end linked ammunition belts or close-end linked ammunition belts. The weapon has first round select and first cycle fire capabilities. The bolt carrier assembly translates out of phase with the extractor assembly. The extractor assembly is configured for rearward extraction of the cartridges in close-end linked ammunition belts. The weapon works seamlessly with open-end linked and close-end linked ammunition belts.
Firearm with multi-part chamber locking assembly
Improvements in a firearm with a multi-part chamber locking assembly is disclosed to allow the casing ejection and reloading sequence to be temporarily slowed down to capture the optimum amount of ignited gun powders expanding gas, prior to the round exiting the barrel. Large slide component(s) of a firearm are replaced with a multi-part chamber locking assembly. This negates the requirement for a round to move laterally after moving vertically. The round only moves vertically thus mitigating the requirement for any forward motion. The multi-part chamber reduces the weight and materials needed to actuate all components of the ejecting and reloading process, so more energy is available to transfer movement of casing ejecting. The round is fired with a hammer or striker through impingement or a firing pin actuated action on a primer to ignite the propellant.
