PISTOL

A pistol having a handle piece, a slide that is movable on the handle piece along guides, and a barrel. Provided in the handle piece is a blocking device for the forward movement of the barrel, where the blocking device has a retaining platelet that is movable in a slot and is under the action of a spring, for a barrel projection. A spring platelet is provided in the slot between the spring and the retaining platelet, where the spring platelet is designed such that it can be partially extracted from the slot transversely with respect to the center plane of the pistol. In this extracted position, the spring platelet is pivotable, together with the retaining platelet, against the force of the spring, with the result that the retaining platelet passes out of the movement path of the barrel projection and the slide can be withdrawn forward.

Interchangeable grip for a firearm
11428501 · 2022-08-30 · ·

Methods, systems, and apparatuses for interchangeable, customizable, and suitable grips for firearms are described. In some embodiments, the grip includes two components, a grip base piece and an interchangeable grip (e.g., an interchangeable grip attachment) of the firearm user's choice. The grip base piece attaches to the lower receiver held by a pistol grip screw and a lock washer. In some examples, the grip base piece may only be installed once, for example, initially prior to implementation of interchangeable grips (e.g., the grip base piece may not require any other attention or installation changes after the initial placement onto the lower receiver). Following the installation of the grip base piece on the lower receiver, interchangeable grips of users' choice may be connected to the grip base piece (e.g., and interchanged with other interchangeable grips) via utilizing a grip interface (e.g., a T-shaped mating tab of the interchangeable grip).

A firearm comprises a frame defining a bolt passage, with a reciprocating bolt received in the passage. The frame defines a magazine well, and a top cover having a forward end pivotally connected to the frame and defining an upper portion of the bolt passage.

MATCHED FIREARM RECEIVER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
20170227309 · 2017-08-10 ·

The present invention provides matched upper and lower firearm receivers and method of manufacturing the same. An upper receiver has a forward lug and a rear lug. A lower receiver has forward ears and rear sidewalls that form a pocket. When the upper and lower receivers are positioned together, the forward lug fits between the lower receiver ears and the rear lug fits into the pocket between the sidewalls. Forward openings are formed in axial alignment through the ears and forward lug. Rear openings are formed in axial alignment through the rear sidewalls and the rear lug. Reinforcement sleeves are fitted into the forward openings of the ears and forward lug and into the rear openings of the sidewalls and rear lug.

Shotgun ammunition conversion system

A shotgun ammunition conversion system has a detachable magazine well having a sleeve defining a rectangular passage adapted to removably receive an ammunition magazine, a boss extending forward of the sleeve and at a level above at least a portion of the sleeve, the boss being adapted to be received in the rear aperture of the magazine tube, and a tang extending rearward of the sleeve and defining a tang aperture operable to receive a fastener associated with a shotgun frame to secure the magazine well to the shotgun with the sleeve proximate and aligned with the loading port when the boss is received in the rear aperture of the magazine tube. The boss may have a lower cylindrical surface portion operable to contact a lower portion of the magazine tube adjacent to the rear aperture. The boss may be a cylindrical body.

Method of installing and removing a safety selector

A method of installing a safety selector in a firearm includes inserting the safety selector into an opening in the firearm, aligning a hole extending through the safety selector with a cavity extending transversely from the opening, inserting a spring through the hole and into the cavity, inserting a detent plunger through the hole and at least partially into the cavity, thereby compressing the spring, and moving the safety selector within the opening transversely to the cavity so as to capture the detent plunger at least partially within the cavity. The invention also encompasses a method of removing the safety selector.
