The present invention is related to hammer and hammer spring assembly from firearms especially but, not limited to, Stoner Automatic Rifle (SAR) variants, other firearms and other non-firearm mechanisms. The system and method is intended to relieve the hammer spring pressure during removal and installation the hammer. This is accomplished by capturing the hammer and spring legs onto a retainer which holds the spring legs in a position that does not engage any of the nearby features and allows the hammer, spring and retainer to float freely as one assembly on the hammer rotating pin. The system may utilize different shape retainers for other spring shapes and the spring spoon may have other cavity shapes to facilitate manipulating spring legs that are formed to engage on or over pins or other features for use in other firearms or non-firearm assemblies.

A combined cartridge deflector and scope mount for attachment to a lever action top ejection rifle. The cartridge deflecting component, by means of three deflection elements, changes the trajectory of both the ejected whole cartridges, and the empty shell casings, from vertical and to the rear of the rifle to a trajectory of slightly above horizontal and to the right of the rifle, as seen from the shooter's position. The scope mount component of the invention allows a riflescope to be mounted directly above the ejection port of the receiver, the conventional and most desirable position. The invention, in many cases can be attached to the rifle using existing screw holes without the need for a gunsmith.

A combined cartridge deflector and scope mount for attachment to a lever action top ejection rifle. A system facilitates one handed manipulation of a service pistol and includes a device having two components and related inserts that allow for single handed loading, cycling, firing, clearing and unloading of semi-automatic pistols. The present device includes a spine; and a retainer attached to the spine wherein the retainer comprises at least a first groove tapering from a first width towards the pivotal attachment between the cover and spine to a second width towards the front edge of the cover.

An upper receiver for a firearm, the upper receiver having: a hand guard section removably connected to the upper receiver via a locking mechanism pivotally mounted to the hand guard section for movement between a locking position and an unlocking position, wherein the locking mechanism requires only a single movement in one direction to move from the locking position to the unlocking position, wherein the hand guard section has peripheral device mounting rails located at a six o'clock position with respect to a centerline of the barrel and wherein the hand guard section is capable of being completely detached and removed from the upper receiver after the locking mechanism has been moved into the unlocking position; and a plurality of integrally formed rails located above the hand guard section and at three, nine and twelve o'clock positions with respect to the centerline of the barrel.

An upper receiver for a firearm, the upper receiver having: a hand guard section removably connected to the upper receiver via a locking mechanism pivotally mounted to the hand guard section for movement between a locking position and an unlocking position, wherein the locking mechanism requires only a single movement in one direction to move from the locking position to the unlocking position, wherein the hand guard section has peripheral device mounting rails located at a six o'clock position with respect to a centerline of the barrel and wherein the hand guard section is capable of being completely detached and removed from the upper receiver after the locking mechanism has been moved into the unlocking position; and a plurality of integrally formed rails located above the hand guard section and at three, nine and twelve o'clock positions with respect to the centerline of the barrel.

A picatinny/weaver style mount for a folding bayonet provides a cradle with set screws, for affixing the folding bayonet to the mount. The mount can be affixed to any picatinny/weaver style rail that is on the barrel of a rifle, automatic weapon, shotgun, or other long firearm. Below the cradle, is a rail mount that provides a main bolt for the mount, which may be secured with an Allen wrench and released with one hand. On the left side and the right side of the mount, picatinny rails are provided for securing a flashlight, sighting laser, bipod, or other attachments.

A keymod mount, which is arranged for detachably coupling at a firearm having one or more keymod slots, includes a securing member and a locking member movably extended from the securing member. The securing member includes a mounting body having a top utility surface, and a coupling head downwardly extended from a bottom surface of the mounting body for slidably engaging with a narrow slot portion of the keymod slot to retain said mounting body on a top surface of the keymod slot. The locking member includes a locking body and a locking head downwardly extended from a bottom surface of the locking body for inserting into an enlarged slot portion of the keymod slot after the coupling head is engaged with the narrow slot portion thereof, so as to securely lock up the securing member on the firearm.

Elements of the present invention relate to the application of force to a bolt carrier within a firearm when the firearm becomes inoperable. Some elements relate to the application of force by leverage applied with a bar inserted through a weapon's magazine well. Some elements relate to a bar end with prongs that provide for clearance of a weapon's bolt shaft while engaging the weapon's bolt carrier. Some elements relate to accommodation of multiple weapon dimensions with a single tool.

A firearm shell casing catching system for collecting casings ejected from a firearm includes a mounting assembly, casing deflector, and a hopper. A shim can be optionally attached to the mounting assembly thereby decreasing the inside dimension of the mounting assembly to allow for the firearm shell casing catching system to be attached to magwells of firearms having different sizes.
