METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR OPTICAL ADAPTER FOR FIREARM SLIDE
An apparatus and method for modifying a handgun to accept an optical sight comprises a modified slide mechanism adapted to include a flat recessed rear section configured to receive an adapter plate for mounting an optical sight. Various embodiments of the adapter include modified internal components used to replace stock components what will no longer fit within the modified profile of the slide mechanism. Replacement of the slide mechanism and associated internal components will allow a user to add an optical sight to an existing handgun.
Unfinished firearm
Present embodiments relate to an unfinished firearm. More specifically, but without limitation, present embodiments relate to an unfinished firearm frame which may be constructed to define a useable firearm.

Slide assembly for a firearm
A slide assembly for a firearm comprising a slide and an extractor assembly is provided. The slide includes a mounting recess about a top side of the slide, and a housing recess about a proximal end of the slide. The extractor assembly is mounted within the housing recess and includes a distal end for engaging a cartridge and a proximal end opposite the distal end. The proximal end terminates at a position adjacent about a mid-portion of the mounting recess. One or more retaining holes are provided within a proximal region of the mounting recess spaced from the proximal end of the extractor assembly. Firearm sights are attachable to the mounting recess via fasteners engaging the retaining holes. The retaining holes are arranged such that they do not interfere with the extractor assembly or other components within the housing recess of the slide.
OPTIC GUARD FOR FIREARM
An optic guard for a firearm may include: a frame; and a bracket having a first side to attach to a firearm assembly, the bracket integrally formed with the frame or fixably attached to the frame at a second side of the bracket. The frame may be arranged to protect a top and sides of the optic when the first side of the bracket is attached to the firearm assembly. In some embodiments, the second side of the bracket defines an optic attachment, wherein the frame protects the top and sides of the optic when the optic is coupled to the bracket using the optic attachment. In some embodiments, the first side of the bracket may define a protrusion or opening to mate with an opening or protrusion in front of an optic mounting platform.
SILENCER
A sound suppressor is provided for a portable firearm, more particularly a pistol. The sound suppressor includes a fastening rail for fastening the sound suppressor to the portable firearm, a sound suppressor insert, designed to reduce sound emissions when a shot is fired, being arranged on the fastening rail and being designed as one piece with the fastening rail.
Gas operated rotary barrel action and pistol
An action for a firearm uses a rotating barrel on which are mounted lugs and a cam follower. The barrel is positioned coaxially within a tube fixed to the frame of the firearm. A cam, engaged by the cam follower, is also fixed to the frame. A gas space is defined between the tube and the barrel by a thrust surface on the barrel and a reaction surface on the tube. A gas port connects the gas space with the barrel's bore. A slide overlies the tube and defines longitudinally oriented grooves which receive the lugs when the barrel is rotated by interaction between the cam and the cam follower to align the lugs and the grooves. Motion of the barrel is arrested by interaction between the cam and cam follower, and motion of the slide relative to the barrel is permitted when the lugs align and engage the grooves.

Non-pyrotechnic aerial display apparatus
A non-pyrotechnic aerial display apparatus may include a head portion and a wing portion. The head portion may include a front portion, a rear portion, and a plurality of channels extending from the front portion toward the rear portion. The wing portion may extend rearward from the head portion. The wing portion may include a top surface, a bottom surface, a leading edge, a trailing edge, a rear edge extending from the leading edge to the trailing edge, and an airfoil extending along the leading edge. The wing portion may include a counterweight. The apparatus may include one or more forward-facing lights. The apparatus may include one or more rearward-facing lights. Other examples may be described and claimed.
THREADED GUN ATTACHMENT
The present disclosure provides systems and techniques for an attachment that can be fastened to a gun. The attachment may include a top surface having a longitudinal axis and an aiming sight that is parallel with the longitudinal axis, a front surface having a latitudinal axis that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, the front surface including a muzzle aperture, a left surface, a right surface, and a fastening system. The fastening system may include a first mounting aperture of the left surface, a second mounting aperture of the right surface, and a locking pin capable of being positioned in the first mounting aperture and in the second mounting aperture such that the locking pin fastens the attachment to the gun. The attachment may be fastened to the gun such that the longitudinal axis is parallel with a longitudinal bore axis of the gun.
