Muzzle loading conversion system for a rifle

A muzzle loading conversion system for a rifle having an upper and lower receiver. A barrel is slidingly secured to the upper receiver. A stationary bolt member is positioned within the upper receiver with a firing pin slidably received within a bolt opening. A breech plug mechanism is threadedly secured to the barrel within a barrel end section and the breech plug mechanism is adapted to receive a primer within a breech plug mechanism chamber which is in fluid communication with the bolt through opening. The breech plug mechanism is engaged with the bolt member within a breech plug member receiving chamber.

SEMI-AUTOMATIC SHOTGUN AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
20220228826 · 2022-07-21 ·

A semiautomatic shotgun comprising a receiver, a barrel, a forward gas block assembly attached to the barrel, a slider assembly rearward of the gas block assembly extending into the receiver. Upon firing a shotshell the explosive gases in the barrel are diverted through two ports into the gas block assembly, specifically into a pair of lateral pressure relief valves positioned on both sides of the barrel. The pressure relief valves further having a gas pathway from the barrel provided by clusters of holes less than a specific size and on-center with the barrel axis. A piston is forced rearwardly and engages a slider of the slider assembly that is linked to a breech block in the receiver. The breech block loads unfired shells and ejects the fired shells accomplishing the semiautomatic recycling. The dual pressure relief valves actuate to moderate and limit the gas pressure that enters the piston chamber when using shotshells of different power levels thereby providing consistency in the recycling operation. The shotgun assembled with a plurality of retention pins having uniformly sized O-rings.

Human Transported Weapon with Plurality of Types of Munitions an a Decision Subsystem with Aim Adjustment

A human transported weapon system is comprised of an automated targeting subsystem, a sensing subsystem, munitions storage, munitions logic, sensor logic, target logic, and, munitions logic, a decision subsystem, trigger activation logic, aim adjustment logic; and a firing subsystem. The automated targeting subsystem identifies and provides for selection of a selected target in a field of view of the human transported weapon system. The sensing subsystem tracking location of the available targets in the field of view of the human transported weapon system. The munitions storage provides storage of up to a plurality of types of munitions and having at least one of the types of munitions available to select from. The munitions logic determines which of the types of munition is available. The sensor logic gathers target data from sensors, recognizing type of target from analyzing the target data. The target logic chooses a selected target based on the types of munitions available. The munitions logic chooses a selected munition from the types of munitions available based on the selected target. The decision subsystem locates where target is at a firing time responsive to the sensor logic. The trigger activation logic fires the selected munition at a firing time.

AMMUNITION CONVERTIBLE FIREARM

A firearm as disclosures herein comprises a main receiver body, a barrel, a breech bolt structure, a buffer assembly, a trigger group assembly, a bolt catch and at least one of an auto-sear, a magazine adapter and a breech bolt anti-rotation structure. The main receiver body is preferably of a monolithic construction whereby the handguard and breech bolt carrying bore can be manufactured from a single piece of material. The auto-sear is tripped by engagement with a buffer of the buffer assembly. The magazine adapter has an exterior surface structure engaged with a mating interior surface structure of a magazine well space of the main receiver body. A distal end portion of the breech bolt anti-rotation structure is engageable by the buffer for limiting forward travel of the buffer when the barrel is detached from the main receiver body.

The invention provides a barrel flexing mitigation assembly (10), which is suitable for reducing barrel deflection, particularly in long range rifle barrels, such as those used in target shooting, hunting or sniper applications. The barrel flexing mitigation assembly (10) comprises a tubular shaft (20) extending coaxially with a rifle barrel (12) for defining an exoskeleton (20) within which at least part of the barrel (12) is encased; and a tubular barrel stabiliser (22) which is snug-fitted over the barrel (12), such that it is radially positioned between the barrel (12) and the tubular exoskeleton (20).
