Modular system for firearm receiver
A modular system for a firearm receiver which has a threaded annulus at a rear end thereof. The modular system includes a base that includes a front face, a rear face, and a thread helically extending along an exterior thereof between the front face and rear face and configured to engage with the threaded annulus of the receiver. The base includes a screw opening extending through the front and rear faces. The system also includes a screw and a first end cap. The first end cap has a body. The body has a front face and a threaded opening extending into the body and terminating therein. The screw has a threaded shank configured to extend through the screw opening of the base and into the threaded opening of the first end cap for connecting the base and first end cap.
RF ANTENNA PLATFORM
An RF antenna platform selectively configurable for portable or non-portable use, the platform comprising: a body comprising at least one RF antenna for transmitting and receiving RF signals; at least one component interface provided on the body for interchangeable mounting of different types of stabilising component to the body; wherein the component interface is common to each of the different types of stabilising component such that the portable and non-portable configurations of the platform are selectively determined by the type of stabilising component mounted to the body.
AR-type rifle lower receiver with integrated grip
An AR-type rifle lower receiver comprises a lower portion having a supplemental opening or recess adjacent the rifle's trigger-guard opening for receiving the middle finger of the user's hand. In addition, a juxtaposed curved boundary surface spaced laterally and rearwardly with respect to the supplemental opening is provided to define a comfortable “grip” bearing surface for the area between the thumb and index finger of the user's hand when the user positions his/her index finger on the rifle's trigger.
