Patrol vehicle and personal protection system
A patrol vehicle protection system with a quick release bullet resistant transparent panel system that requires no permanent modifications to the patrol vehicle, offers head impact safety protection, and may be used as a handheld protective shield. The system includes a bullet resistant transparent panel that temporarily attaches to a mounting mechanism mounted inside the door window opening. The mechanism includes upper and lower brackets that engage the window tracks around the door window opening. An optional vertical brace may be used to hold the brackets in place. The transparent panel is securely held between the two brackets with magnets that allow release of the panel in a side impact collision. The system includes at lateral force generating device mounted to a bracket that is activated when a side impact is detected forcing the transparent panel outward. The system also includes a quick release handle configured to be selectively attached to the transparent panel enabling to be removed and used as a protective shield.
Liquid storage tank
A liquid storage tank, for example an aircraft fuel tank, having a tank wall enclosing a liquid storage space, and a tie assembly located at least partially within the liquid storage space. The tie assembly includes an elongate member, for example a wire or cable, and a plurality of attachment devices fixed to an inner surface of the tank wall. The elongate member includes a plurality of spaced part points along its length, each of the spaced apart points being fixed to a respective attachment device such that the tie assembly resists outward deformation of the tank wall.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO DETER THEFT OF COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS
In some embodiments, autonomous product delivery systems and methods are provided herein useful to deter theft of commercial products via an autonomous ground vehicle (AGV). In some embodiments, systems are provided to deter theft of commercial products, and may comprise: an AGV configured to transport commercial products to delivery locations that includes control circuits, which are communicatively coupled to sensors, container storage areas housing commercial products for delivery, defensive elements positioned proximate to the commercial products and configured to physical alter the commercial products and render them unsatisfactory for their intended purpose. The control circuits can determine the presence of unknown third parties positioned next to the AGV and, in response thereto, determine occurrences of adverse events associated with the AGV. Some embodiments, in response to determining the occurrence of adverse events, the control circuits can activate the defensive elements to physically alter the one or more commercial products.
Camper shell turret system
A collapsible turret apparatus used for shooting having a turret base and a turret ring. The turret base is mounted to a surface with an opening, such as a surface of a camper shell and the turret ring, which can rotate 360 degrees, is connected to a collapsible two part arm. In a collapsed state, the two part arm is folded and stowed on the ceiling of a camper shell. The first arm pivots about a point where it is connected to the turret ring. The second arm pivots about a point where it is connected to the first arm. In an extendable state, the two part arm reaches out of the camper shell. The available end of the two part arm has the ability to mount shooting devices, weapons and the like. Further accessories for the two part arm can be stored on the camper shell.

Lightweight ballistic resistant anti-intrusion systems and related methods thereof
A method for manufacturing a ballistic resistance package which includes providing a molecularly oriented tape material having a front face and back face with a minimum of two sets of parallel side faces; wrapping molecularly oriented fabric material around the front and back faces and a set of the parallel side faces of the molecularly oriented tape material, yielding a wrapped core structure; and finalizing the wrapped core structure to yield the ballistic resistance package. A multifunction ballistic resistance system for resisting projectiles and/or mitigating blast effects of explosions. The multifunction ballistic resistance system may include: at least one cellular frame defining cells therein, and a plurality of molecularly oriented tape material core structures wrapped in molecularly oriented fabric material and finalized, and attached to at least one cellular frame.
Ballistic shield with boltless viewport
A ballistic shield has a strike face and a body side and includes a ballistic panel and a viewport. Plies of ballistic material are formed together as the ballistic panel. A pocket in the ballistic panel is recessed into the strike face of the panel, and is at least partially defined by a pocket wall that is offset from a main body portion of the ballistic panel in a direction away from the strike face. The pocket wall has an opening forming a viewing area that is circumscribed by a frame section of the pocket wall. A viewport is secured in the pocket with a first section of the viewport overlying the frame section of the pocket wall and a second section of the viewport overlying the viewing area.
DRIVETRAIN
The following invention relates to smart material couplings, particularly to shape memory alloy drivetrain systems to mitigate against shock or blast.
There is provided an armoured land vehicle comprising:an armoured v shaped hull; a powerplant located within said chassis, at least one wheel set with a hub, and, at least one drive shaft comprising a shape memory alloy, wherein said drivetrain is located between and operably connected via drive couplings to said powerplant and the hub of the at least one wheel set, to provide drive to said at least one wheel set.
Unfinished Component for a Body of a Derivative Which is Derived from a Base Vehicle, and Method for Producing Said Unfinished Component
An unfinished component for a body of a derivative which is derived from a base vehicle, and more particularly, for a body of a civilian armored car. In order to provide such an unfinished component which is simple to produce and has a weight-saving design, the unfinished component is formed using a base unfinished component of the body of the derivative, more particularly, of the series production vehicle. The base unfinished component is reinforced in areas which are subject to high loads, and which are determined using a structural-mechanics simulation of the body of the civilian armored car, by means of local reinforcing elements, which are connected to the base unfinished component by way of joining.
