The platform is connected to the rotary stage. The first laser is within the mast. The second laser is within the rotary stage or the platform.
INTERDICTION AND RECOVERY FOR SMALL UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS
Apparatuses, systems, and methods are disclosed for drone interdiction. A projectile is capable of being launched to intercept a drone. The projectile may include a set of tethers that deploy from the projectile for securing the drone. The projectile may include a recovery device that deploys from the projectile for controlling a descent of the drone.
PROPORTIONAL-RESPONSE CONDUCTIVE ENERGY WEAPON AND METHOD
A method of delivering an electric charge to a remote target with a CEW includes using one or more sensors in communication with the CEW to determine a threat level of a situation and contacting the target with at least one electrode wire discharged from the CEW. The method further includes applying an electric charge along the at least one electrode wire so that electrical charge flows between the CEW and the remote target based upon the determined threat level of the situation.
CONTROL SYSTEM BASED ON MULTI-UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE COOPERATIVE STRATEGIC CONFRONTATION
The control system based on multi-unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) cooperative strategic confrontation includes a management module, a UAV formation module, a situation assessment module, a decision-making module, and a cooperative mission assigning module of both sides in a confrontation. The management module is configured to store state information acquired by the UAV formation module. The UAV formation module is configured to acquire state information of UAVs and execute a control instruction. The situation assessment module is configured to acquire situation assessment information according to the state information. The decision-making module is configured to acquire a countermeasure based on the situation assessment information. The cooperative mission assigning module is configured to generate control instructions for the UAVs based on the countermeasure and in combination with a confrontation target and an optimal situation assessment value.
POLYMORPHIC CONDUCTED ELECTRICAL WEAPON
A conducted electrical weapon may interchangeably receive a plurality of magazines. A magazine may be releasably engaged with a magazine bay of the conducted electrical weapon. Engagement of a magazine with the magazine bay may expose a bottom surface of the magazine. Each magazine may comprise a plurality of firing tubes. A magazine may be configured to launch at least one electrode from at least one firing tube of the plurality of firing tubes. A control circuit may be configured to provide an ignition signal to less than all of the plurality of firing tubes. A first pair of firing tubes may be oriented to achieve a minimum electrode spread at a first range. A second pair of firing tubes may be oriented to achieve a minimum electrode spread at a second range. The plurality of firing tubes may be arranged in an array comprising a column of firing tubes.
DIRECT ACTION RESTRAINING TAG
A direct action restraining tag apparatus is disclosed for interfering with normal operation of a motor vehicle. An example restraining tag includes a housing having an internal compartment. The example restraining tag also includes a pulse mechanism disposed within the internal compartment. The pulse mechanism includes a transmitter configured to generate one or both of a radio frequency pulse and an electromagnetic pulse having a magnitude sufficient to interfere with normal operation of an electronic control module of a motor vehicle.
BATTERY THERMAL AND POWER CONTROL SYSTEM
Disclosed are battery systems for powering a laser weapon, and methods of thereof. A system includes a battery bank comprising a plurality of cylindrical battery cells electrically connected in series and parallel to form a plurality of modules, wherein an air flow path through each module defined by a spacing between a surface of each battery cell and its neighboring battery cell. Furthermore a control system is configured to provide cooling via airflow from the one or more fans to temperature control the battery modules to prevent the temperature difference between a first side of the battery module and a second side of the battery module from rising above a predetermined threshold while the laser weapon is active and consuming energy from the battery bank.
Radiation source for microwave pulses and radiation device
A radiation source for emitting an electromagnetic HPEM microwave pulse contains a microwave generator for generating the pulse. The generator has a generator opening for outputting the pulse. A horn structure is provided for shaping the pulse. The horn structure has an input opening, which is connected to the generator opening and is intended to radiate in the pulse, and an emission opening for emitting the shaped pulse. The generator contains at least two pulse sources for respectively generating a pulse component. The pulse is the sum of the pulse components. A radiation device contains such a radiation source and a control device for triggering the pulse sources in a temporally synchronized manner for the purpose of respectively emitting a pulse component.
Apparatus for a directed-energy weapon
An apparatus for a directed-energy weapon comprises an assessment system arranged to, during an assessment phase, perform an assessment of a target environment, wherein the target environment comprises a target; and a controller arranged to, during the assessment phase, control the directed energy weapon to direct energy towards the target environment so that the assessment system can perform the assessment using the directed energy.
PRESSURE AND HEAT CONDUCTED ENERGY DEVICE AND METHOD
A method of delivering charge to a remote target includes pressurizing a reservoir of metallic conductor initially at a temperature below its melting point. The method includes flowing the metallic conductor through an orifice to form a continuous thread with axial velocity, so that a user might direct the axial velocity of the thread to intercept the remote target. The method further includes applying a potential differential along the thread so that electrical current flows between the reservoir and the remote target.
