Entangling projectile deployment system
A projectile deployment system includes an entangling projectile having a pair of pellets and a tether connecting the pellets. A projectile casing includes a pair of sockets, each socket sized to carry one of the pellets, the sockets being oriented at an acute angle relative to a longitudinal axis of the projectile casing such that the pellets travel apart from one another as they are expelled from the projectile casing. A launcher carries the casing and includes a selectively activatable pressure source capable of expelling the entangling projectile from the projectile casing toward a subject.
Low-observable projectile
A radar-absorbing material projectile system including a projectile with an outer layer of radar-absorbing material (RAM). A carrier or armature is disposed around the projectile, protecting the layer of RAM during the firing sequence. In some embodiments the carrier is a discarding carrier which falls away after firing, rendering the projectile low-observable with regard to radar detection due to the layer of RAM.
Foam dart having a safety cap
A toy dart includes a deformable cap that safely impacts a target. The cap includes two layers of substantially parallel hollow passages that provide spaces that allow the cap to deform. The lower layer, having two hollow passages, is supported by exterior posts and an interior wall between the two hollow passages. The upper layer, having three hollow passages, is supported by exterior posts and interior walls that are laterally offset from the interior wall of the lower layer. The upper and lower layers are separated vertically by a substantially flat divider. Due to the difference in the number of hollow passages and interior walls in each layer, the upper layer is more rigid than the lower layer such that the lower layer of the cap deforms more than the upper layer of the cap upon initial impact with the target.
Toy Dart
The invention relates to a dart head for a toy dart. The dart head comprises a body having an enlarged head portion integrally formed with a stem portion longitudinally extended from the head portion, wherein the head portion is hollow. The invention also relates to a toy dart comprising a dart body connectable with the dart head as described.
Toy Dart
The invention relates to a dart head for a toy dart, comprising a body having a hollow stem portion integrally formed with and longitudinally extending from an enlarged, hollow head portion; the head portion and the stem portion being fluidly connected, with the head portion defining at least one first transverse internal head dimension, and the stem portion defining at least one first transverse internal stem dimension; wherein the at least one first transverse internal head dimension is larger than the at least one first transverse internal stem dimension. The invention also relates to a toy dart comprising a dart body connectable with the dart head as described, and a method of manufacturing the dart head as described.

Dart storage rack
A dart storage rack to securely store darts when not in use. The dart storage rack includes a base member adapted to be secured to a wall, such that the base member is formed of four side walls, a top wall, and a bottom wall. The top wall contains one or more dart storage holes to accommodate a metal point of a the dart. The bottom wall contains one or more dart storage magnets to allow for a secondary storage of the darts.
LAUNCH VEHICLE AND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ECONOMICALLY EFFICIENT LAUNCH THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a launch system, a launch vehicle for use with the launch system, and methods of launching a payload utilizing the launch vehicle and/or the launch system. The disclosure can provide for delivery of the payload at a terrestrial location, an Earth orbital location, or an extraorbital location. The launch vehicle can comprise a payload, a propellant tank, an electrical heater wherein propellant, such as a light gas (e.g., hydrogen) is electrically heated to significantly high temperatures, an exhaust nozzle from which the heated propellant expands to provide an exhaust velocity of, for example, 7-16 km/sec, and sliding electrical contacts in electrical connection with the electrical heater. The launch vehicle can be utilized with the launch system, which can further comprise a launch tube formed of concentric electrically conductive tubes, as well as an electrical energy source, such as a battery bank and associated inductor.
Frangible Projectile and Method of Manufacture
A projectile, such as a low ricochet, non-toxic, air gun BB, pellet or slingshot projectile, that breaks apart into small pieces or fragments when striking a hard surface, and that is lead free. A method of manufacturing the projectile of the present invention is also disclosed.
