System and method for determining coating requirements
A system and method for determining coating requirements with one or more computer-based systems, which includes receiving image files of a structure (e.g., a building), identifying one or more surfaces of the structure to be coated based on the received image files, determining a surface area for each of one or more surfaces to be coated, receiving coating application information, calculating a coating amount for each of the one or more surfaces to be coated based on the calculated surface area and the received coating application information, and optionally, communicating the calculated coating amounts.

Method and apparatus for measuring distance using vehicle-mounted camera, storage medium, and electronic device
The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for measuring a distance using a vehicle-mounted camera, a storage medium, and an electronic device. The method includes: calibrating a camera based on camera calibration images to obtain a camera parameter; detecting parallel lane lines to obtain a vanishing point of the parallel lane lines according to the detected parallel lane lines; calculating a pitch angle of the camera according to the camera parameter and the vanishing point; determining information of an object to be detected in an image captured by the camera; and calculating a distance from the object to be detected to the camera and a size of the object to be detected according to the information of the object to be detected, the pitch angle of the camera, and the camera parameter.
STATIONARY AERIAL PLATFORM SCANNING SYSTEM UTILIZING MEASURED DISTANCES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, DISPLAYING TERRAIN FEATURES AND LOCATION OF OBJECTS
A system and method for rendering terrain features and distance details on a display is disclosed. This includes a computer-implemented distance measuring apparatus integrated in an aerial stationary platform used for terrain scanning and a computer to control the operation and to display the organized and calculated data. The collected scanned data and the determining of terrain coordinates provides details that can be utilized during the broadcasting of a golf sporting event to highlight aspects of the contest. The rendering and the details can be superimposed on the camera video during the broadcast or be utilized by the event sport broadcasters as additional points that need to be highlighted during a player putting process.
MULTI-DIRECTIONAL PHOTOGRAMMETRY TARGET
A photogrammetry target includes a base including a first base side, configured to be fixedly mounted directly to a surface of a component, and a convex second base side opposite the first base side. The convex second base side is defined by a dome. The photogrammetry target further includes a plurality of retroreflective targets fixedly mounted to the dome. Each retroreflective target of the plurality of retroreflective targets includes a retroreflective surface facing a direction which is different than each other retroreflective surface of the plurality of retroreflective targets.
Insurance system
An online insurance system including a customer interface, configured to enable an insurance customer to enter insurance claim details, a tradesperson interface, configured to enable a tradesperson to provide cost estimates based at least in part on the insurance claims details, and an assessor interface, configured to enable an assessor to review the claim provided by the customer; and the cost estimates provided by the tradesperson.
Integrated Visual Geo-Referencing Target Unit And Method Of Operation
Integrated Visual Geo-referencing Target Unit ABSTRACT A georeferencing target unit including: a generally planar top surface including a visual marker structure on the top surface, dimensioned to be observable at a distance by a remote visual capture device; an internal GPS tracking unit tracking the current position of the target unit; a microcontroller and storage means for storing GPS tracking data; and wireless network interconnection unit for interconnecting wirelessly with an external network for the downloading of stored GPS tracking data; a power supply for driving the GPS tracking unit, microcontroller, storage and wireless network interconnection unit, a user interface including an activation mechanism for activating the internal GPS tracking unit to track the current position of the target unit over an extended time frame and store the tracked GPS tracking data in the storage means.
Biodegradable ground control target
A generally rigid ground control target preferably fabricated from a biodegradable or compostable material and optionally include a biodegradable securing stake is described. In one variation of the ground control target scored or perforated sections are provided including a center portion thereof that are selectively removable to convert the target into a stencil for use in applying painted targets directly on a ground surface.
