Fluid Output Measurement and Analysis System

Embodiments described herein are directed to an automatic fluid measurement system including a fluid collection system configured to drain a fluid from a patient, and a short wave infrared imaging system configured to image the collection container to provide a high contrast, high resolution image and determine a volume of fluid disposed therein. In an embodiment, the system can determine a fluid flow rate, or determine a presence or concentration of foreign particles within the collection container. One or more cameras can image different portions of the container, or can include different focal lengths. Images of the collection container can be communicated to remote computing devices for further analysis.

An example conductivity analyzer includes a peristaltic pump to flow the hydrocarbons over a temperature controller and a conductivity probe. The temperature controller includes a Peltier block. The conductivity analyzer also includes the conductivity probe.

OPTICAL LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM

A perfusion system includes a fluid reservoir configured to hold a portion of fluid, the portion of fluid having a volume, the fluid reservoir having a total capacity that is greater than the volume; an imaging device, the imaging device configured to obtain image data corresponding to the fluid reservoir; and a controller. The controller is configured to receive the image data from the imaging device; determine the volume based on the image data; and facilitate control, in response to at least one of a user input and the determined volume of the portion of fluid, of an operating parameter corresponding to the fluid reservoir to facilitate changing or maintaining the volume of the portion of the fluid.

A bore hole measurement system includes a cable with spaced apart embedded elements along a length of the cable, a sensor for detection of the elements as they move relatively past the sensor, and a processor for determining the distance that the cable has travelled based on the detections of elements that have moved past the sensor. A method includes detecting the elements moving past a sensor, and determining the distance that the cable has travelled based on the detections of elements that have moved past the sensor.

Indoor Grey Water Purification and Reuse Device, System and Method for Public Buildings

An indoor grey water purification and reuse device, system and method for public buildings is disclosed. The grey water purification and reuse device includes a grey water storage tank, a grey water treatment assembly and a pneumatic reclaimed water tank assembly which are sequentially arranged from top to bottom. The grey water storage tank is used for storing grey water from one floor above collected by a grey water collecting device. The grey water treatment assembly is used for carrying out multistage purification treatment on the grey water in the grey water storage tank. The pneumatic reclaimed water tank assembly is used for disinfecting reclaimed water subjected to multistage purification treatment and supplying water to reclaimed water reuse facilities on the current floor of the building in a constant-pressure mode.

Fluid delivery systems and methods

A method of dispensing fluid includes three processes. A first one of these processes includes pumping fluid into a resilient variable-volume dispensing chamber. The dispensing chamber is in series with a normally present finite fluid impedance and an output. The impedance is sufficient so as to cause expansion of the dispensing chamber as it receives pumped fluid even while some fluid flows through the output. Another one of these processes includes repeatedly measuring a parameter related to volume of the dispensing chamber over time. A third one of these processes includes controlling the pumping of fluid based on repeated measurements of the parameter to produce a desired fluid flow through the output. A corresponding system for dispensing fluid implements these processes.
