Method for measuring energy efficiency of a quantitative weighing device
A method is provided for measuring an energy efficiency of a quantitative weighing device. A data measurement part is formed by: recording a control time of fast charging, recording a control time of slow charging, recording a comparison prohibition time, and recording weighing data. A current device reliability parameter, a fast charging feed flow, and a slow charging feed flow are calculated, based on the comparison prohibition time and the control time of slow charging. The fastest feed time under a requirement of a target reliability parameter is calculated as the difference between the target reliability parameter and the calculated control reliability parameter. By using the method, application data, such as capability of a quantitative control device and energy efficiency of the quantitative weighing device, can be intuitively obtained. This facilitates commissioning, maintenance, and use of the quantitative weighing control device.
Device for dispensing powder, cap for such a device and workstation comprising such a device
The invention relates to a device for dispensing powder, comprising at least one storage tank (1) provided with a cap (2) comprising a flow orifice (3) for the powder. According to the invention, the device comprises a shutter (8) provided with an aperture (9) and fitted so as to be able to move relative to the cap between a shut position preventing the powder from flowing and an open position allowing the powder to flow through the aperture of the shutter, a channel (12) passing through the shutter so as to extend on either side of the aperture of the shutter in a direction that is substantially transverse to the flow of the powder, and means for creating a relative motion between the cap and the shutter in order to move the shutter between its two positions, said means being connected to a control unit (20) that is connected to contactless means for detecting the flow of the powder, the detecting means comprising, at a first end of the channel of the shutter, at least one emitter (21) emitting a wave into the channel and, at a second end of the channel, at least one receiver (22) for detecting the emitted wave. The invention also relates to a workstation comprising such a device for dispensing powder.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MEASURING GRAIN CART WEIGHT
A system of detecting loading and unloading of mobile containers such as grain carts utilizes two low pass filters to determine whether the contents of the container are changing by subtracting one filter signal from the other, and using the sign of the difference. Weighing performance is improved by utilizing accelerometers to compensate for measurement dynamics and non-level orientation. Failure and degradation of weight sensors is detected by testing sensor half bridges. Loading and unloading weights can be tied to specific vehicles by utilizing RF beacons.

Cigarette Rolling Machine
A cigarette rolling machine includes paper pick and place subassembly wherein bulk paper strip is provided by a roll resting upon spool hooks. The frame plates are held spaced apart by a plurality of struts. A paper drive motor drives a roller which may preferably be made of polyurethane or another material that paper may adhere to effectively. A fluid reservoir contains adhesive fluid which is delivered into a wick held in a wick retainer A pick arm mounted on vertical displacement struts raises and lowers a hollow pick manifold connected to a vacuum line so that it may pick up a cigarette paper and retain it on its underside surface for placement onto a section cigarette forming belt. A transfer pad swings from a pair of swing arms which each have a stud slidable within a serpentine groove of a guide plate affixed to the pick manifold.
Combination scale with shielding tool
This disclosure provides a combination scale including a dispersing feeder, linear feeders, a plurality of hoppers, and a collector. The dispersing feeder and linear feeders are respectively disposed in upper parts of a center base of the combination scale to disperse and deliver outwardly articles received therein. The hoppers are removably mountable to an outer periphery of the center base to hold and discharge the articles. The collector collects the articles discharged from the hoppers on a central side of the center base and discharges the collected articles. The collector constitutes a collecting and discharging channel for the articles to be collected and discharged. The combination scale further includes a shielding tool configured to block liquid that drops from the center base downward into the collecting and discharging channel.
