One embodiment describes a three-phase electromechanical switching device, which includes three single-phase switching devices mechanically and electrically coupled in parallel with one another, each single-phase switching device including a direct current electromagnetic operator that in operation receives a direct current control signal for switching of the device, stationary contacts disposed in a respective device housing, and a movable assembly that in operation is displaced by energizing the operator and that include movable contacts that open and close, with the stationary contacts, a single current carrying path through the respective single-phase switching device; in which each of the single-phase switching devices receives control signals from control circuitry coupled to the operators of the respective single-phase switching devices to cause at least one of the single-phase switching devices to open or close the single current carrying path at a desired time coordinated with a current zero-crossing or a predicted current zero-crossing of a phase of three-phase power.

The clip 30 is movable to an attachment position where the clip 30 is attached to the holder 20 to sandwich the temperature sensor 10 and the coil 8, and a separated position where the clip 30 is separated from the temperature sensor 10 when the coil 8 is positioned with respect to the temperature sensor 10 by the holder 20.

In an example, an integrated circuit apparatus can include a first resistor configured to be coupled to a first terminal of a temperature-sensitive resistance, a second resistor configured to be coupled to a second terminal of the temperature-sensitive resistance, and a temperature information circuit configured to receive a first voltage from the first terminal of the temperature-sensitive resistance and a second voltage from the second terminal of the temperature-sensitive resistance. The temperature information circuit can provide the temperature information using the first and second voltages.

The invention relates to a temperature sensor (1) for a motor vehicle comprising:—a housing (3) defining an internal volume comprising a temperature sensitive element (5),—electrical wires (9) linked electrically to said temperature sensitive element (5) and configured to transmit an item of temperature information from said sensitive element (5) to the exterior of the housing (3),—a seal (13) partially surrounding the said electrical wires (9) so as to isolate the sensitive element (5) with respect to the exterior of the housing (3), the seal (13) extending preferably in a direction, termed the longitudinal direction. According to the invention, said sensor (1) furthermore comprises a guidance means (15) integral with said seal (13) for the guiding of said electrical wires (9) out of said sensor, said guidance means (15) lying in the extension of said seal (13) according to the longitudinal direction of said seal (13) from a central zone of the seal (13) towards the exterior of said sensor housing (3), and the cross section of said guidance means (15) being of smaller dimension than that of the cross section of the seal (13), at least one portion of said guidance means (15) lying outside the housing.

Remote temperature sensing

In one example, a method includes determining, by a device, a plurality of voltage values that each correspond to a respective voltage drop across a remote p-n junction while the remote p-n junction is biased at different respective current levels, wherein each of the plurality of voltage values is a function of at least: one of the different respective current levels, a temperature of the remote p-n junction, and a series resistance between the device and the remote p-n junction. In this example, the method also includes, determining, by the device, an intermediate value based on a difference between at least three voltage values of the plurality of voltage values, wherein the intermediate value is not a function of the series resistance, and determining the temperature of the remote p-n junction based on the intermediate value such that the temperature is not a function of the series resistance.
