Method and apparatus for measuring corrosion of mobile body
A mobile body corrosion measuring apparatus having a corrosion sensor installed in at least one portion of a mobile body, the corrosion sensor measuring a corrosion state at the portion and outputting corrosion data; a vehicle (mobile body) running speed sensor installed in the mobile body, the running speed sensor measuring a running speed of the mobile body and outputting the running speed data; and a data collection unit that acquires the corrosion data from the corrosion sensor and the running speed data from the vehicle speed sensor at the same time and collects the corrosion data and the running speed data with the corrosion data and the running speed data associated with each other. Due to above structure, a corrosion state specific to the mobile body can be accurately measured.

Tire sensor-based robust mileage tracking system and method
A tire tracking system and method for tracking travel mileage experienced by a vehicle tire includes multiple tire-based sensors affixed to the tire generating identified tire-specific operating condition measurements. The tire-specific operating condition measurements include tire temperature, tire air inflation pressure, a tire wear state measurement and a tire load measurement. A rolling radius estimation model generates a tire rolling radius estimation compensated by the tire-specific operating condition measurements and a vehicle speed estimator generates a vehicle speed estimation based on the compensated tire rolling radius.
Monitoring device and monitoring system
A monitoring device includes an estimation unit, a detection unit, and a correction unit. The estimation unit estimates a degree of degradation of a moving object based on at least an amount of movement of the moving object. The detection unit detects an environment state of the moving object at a time when the moving object is moved, as operation parameter values including an amount of an operation at a time when an operation unit is operated and an operation time. The correction unit corrects the degree of degradation, which is estimated by the estimation unit, based on the operation parameter values detected by the detection unit.
Vehicle Maintenance Tool and Complaining Method Thereof
Complaint records and a complaint log are created in a complaining method, and a correlation between the complaint records and the complaint log is saved. Relevant people can readily obtain a complaint record relevant to the complaint and an associated log so that fault scenes can be conveniently reproduced. The fault of the tool can be effectively solved.
System, method, and apparatus for testing a train management system on a road-rail vehicle
A simulation system, device, and method for testing a train management system on a road-rail vehicle is provided. The simulation system includes: a brake pressure simulation device adapted to be connected to a first input of the train management computer, the brake pressure simulation device including at least one circuit configured to output signals representative of at least one brake pipe pressure; and a speed simulation device adapted to be connected to a second input of the train management computer, the speed simulation device configured to detect a speed of the road-rail vehicle and output signals representative of the speed. Also disclosed is a simulation system wherein the at least one circuit of the brake pressure simulation device is configured to have variable resistances.
Vehicle test system, test management apparatus, and vehicle test method
The present invention mainly intends to provide a vehicle test system and the like that can easily mutually compare actual running data and test result data obtained from a test apparatus, or pieces of test result data. The vehicle test system includes an actual running data acquisition apparatus that acquires actual running data that is data related to states inside and outside of a vehicle in running on a road; a test apparatus each of which performs a drive test or an operation test of a vehicle or a part of the vehicle in accordance with a set test condition; and a test management apparatus that reproduces a part or all of the running states indicated by the actual running data in the test apparatus. Further, the test management apparatus receives test result data that is data indicating a test result by the test apparatus, and comparably outputs the test result data and the actual running data.
Methods and systems for performing steering alignment health checks
Methods and systems are provided for monitoring a steering system of a vehicle. In one embodiment, a method includes: receiving torque signal data corresponding to torque signals received from a torque sensor associated with the steering system; processing the torque signal data to determine an average torque value; determining a health status of an alignment of the steering system based on the average torque value; and generating at least one of a signal, a message, and a code to notify a user based on the health status.
Vehicle and trailer weight balance and force indication system and method of use
A system includes a vehicle having a rear bumper and a trailer hitch assembly having a hitch trailer ball; a trailer having a tongue adapted to engage with the hitch trailer ball and a platform configured to carry a load; and a monitoring system having a computer, a sensor operably associated with the computer and configured to measure a weight of the load carried by the trailer, and an alarm operably associated with the computer and configured to notify a user as a predetermined weight threshold is reached.
Vehicle diagnostic tool—multiple test II
An analysis tool which extracts all the available parameter identifications (i.e. PIDS) from a vehicle's power train control module for diagnostic decisions. This is done by checking these PIDS and other information (e.g., calculated PIDS, Break Points, charts and algorithms) in three states; key on engine off, key on engine cranking, key on engine running. In all three modes the tool is comparing the live data from PIDS and voltage to the other information (e.g., Break Points). If any of this data are outside the programmed values a flag is assigned to the failure or control problem. The relationship between a particular PID and its associated preprogrammed value(s) may be indicated by a light. The depth of the problem (if any) is conveyed by the color of the light. Also included are tests/charts for fuel trim, engine volumetric efficiency, simulated injector, power, catalyst efficiency, and engine coolant range.
