A current measurement system comprising a multi-phase open loop current transducer for measuring phase currents (I.sub.1, I.sub.2, I.sub.3) flowing in a plurality n of primary conductors of a multi-phase electrical system. The transducer comprises a housing, a magnetic core including first and second core parts and a plurality n+1 of magnetic field detectors mounted in the housing between the first and second core parts in which portions of the primary conductors traversing the current transducer housing are positioned. The system further comprises a non-volatile memory in which information on at least one coupling matrix (K), pre-defined in a calibration procedure, is stored.

The measuring device is arranged so as to measure a first complex value of the calibration resistor, during operation in the calibration mode; to measure a second complex value between the electrode and the electrical circuit reference point during operation in measurement mode, and to correct the second measured complex value according to the first measured complex value.

The sensor test apparatus includes a first application unit 40 including a first application device including a socket to which the sensor is electrically connected, and a pressure chamber 43 which applies pressure to the sensor, a test unit which tests the sensor 90 via the socket, a conveying robot which conveys the sensor into and out of the first application unit 40, and an apparatus main body which houses the first application unit 40, the test unit 35 and the conveying robot, and the apparatus main body has an opening which allows the first application unit 40 to be inserted into the apparatus main body and removed from the apparatus main body to an outside.

Advanced material inductive measuring devices can obtain a reading of a monitored current in a monitored source. The advanced material allows the measuring device to operate at low temperatures disproportionate to saturation levels. Readings by the measuring device that are beyond a top-end limit of the measuring system or otherwise outside of a desired band can be transformed or transposed by employing a transformation to correct the reading to be within an acceptable ratio error band.
