Tripodal cooking assembly
A tripodal cooking assembly for grilling over an open fire includes a frame, a shaft, and a grate. The frame comprises a set of three legs, a first brace, and a second brace. The first brace is coupled to each leg proximate to a first end of the leg. The second brace is coupled to each leg between the first end and a midpoint of the leg. The second brace is circumferentially larger than the first brace. A pair of couplers is coupled singly to the first brace and the second brace. The couplers are configured to removably couple to the shaft so that the shaft is perpendicular to the first brace and the second brace. The grate is removably couplable to a lower end of the shaft. The grate is configured to position a food item to be heated by an open flame over which the frame is positioned.

Campfire rack
The campfire rack supports combustible fuel above a supporting surface. The campfire rack is an invertible structure. By invertible is meant that the orientation of the campfire rack relative to the supporting surface can be adjusted to accommodate fuel of different sizes and form factors. The campfire rack comprises a primary basin, a secondary basin, and a plurality of leg structures. The plurality of leg structures attach the primary basin to the secondary basin. The plurality of leg structures elevates the primary basin and the secondary basin above the supporting surface. In a primary orientation, the primary basin elevates the fuel above the supporting surface, and the plurality of leg structures contain the fuel on the primary basin. In an inverted orientation, the secondary basin elevates the fuel above the supporting surface, and the plurality of leg structures contain the fuel on the secondary basin.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COOKING A SKEWERED FOOD ITEM
A turkey cooking apparatus provides a pot and a specially configured insert (e.g., basket) that rests upon the pot bottom. A lower funnel shaped section and upper tube shaped section are provided inside the pot. The insert (e.g., basket) sits upon funnel shaped portion. The insert has a central opening that is receptive of the tubed portion. Both the insert and the tube section can have openings that enable steam to travel upwardly to cook the turkey carcass.

SOLID FUEL COOKING RANGE
A solid fuel cooking range is described herein. Embodiments enable the user to cook food on an upper grill while simultaneously heating a separate dish in a lower oven. In certain embodiments, heat may be applied to the oven from both the top and bottom. Heat and airflow may be controlled using a shroud which does not enclose the sides of the upper cooking area and separate end plates. Embodiments may be portable and lightweight which enables the solid fuel cooking range to be used while traveling and in emergency situations.

ADJUSTABLE GRILL
A portable grill includes a base frame, a set of transverse stabilizers, a support column, a height adjustment assembly, and a cooking platform. The base frame and the transverse stabilizers are configured to rest on a supporting surface. The support column extends upwardly from the base frame. The height adjustment assembly moves up and down the support column and can be selectively fixed in multiple positions along the support column. The cooking platform is coupled to said height adjustment assembly and oriented such that a center of the cooking platform is disposed over a region of the supporting surface between an adjacent pair of the transverse stabilizers.
