EYEGLASSES
An eyeglass frame with an eyeglass front for receiving at least one eyeglass lens, and with a left and right temple, which are pivotably connected to the eyeglass front via a pivot joint connection for holding the eyeglass frame on the head of an eyeglass wearer, wherein the eyeglass front forms at least an upper frame section, wherein the temples can be pivoted relative to the eyeglass front from a position of use into a closing position, in which the temples are arranged above the upper frame section, and vice versa. The temples are arranged in a crossed position relative to each other in their closing position above the upper frame section.
Device for protecting user's nose from solar radiation
A device for protecting a user's nose from solar radiation has a cover part which is formed to cover a user's nose and is composed of a material which is capable of protecting a user's nose from solar radiation, and a connecting part which is attachable to glasses or sunglasses wearable by a user and formed to be retained on the glasses and holds the cover part of the device on the user's nose.
FOLDING GLASSES
A pair of folding glasses includes a frame including two fronts, a bridge pivotably located between the two fronts, and two temples pivotably connected to the two fronts. Each front includes a connection portion which has a first notch defined in the top thereof. The bridge includes two recesses which are respectively engaged with the first notch of the two connection portions. Two wings extend form the two ends of the bridge and each wing include a hole. Two positioning units pivotably position the two wings to the two connection portions. Two positioning units connect the bridge to the two connection portions. Two arms are retractably inserted into the two temples via two respective openings in one end of each temple. The two fronts are pivotable about the two positioning units. The two temples are pivotable relative to the fronts.
SPECTACLES
There is provided a spectacles having two lenses, a rigid or flexible frame including a frame part extending on an upper or a lower lens edge of each of the two lenses, an arm linked on each end of the frame using a hinge, a plastic thread associated with each of the two lenses, each end of the relevant plastic thread is attached to the frame, each attachment point is formed as follows the end of the individual plastic thread forms a loop, which wraps around a frame part, the two longitudinal sections of the end section, which form a loop and extend in parallel to one another, are jointly guided through the single longitudinal borehole of a sleeve, and are enclosed by the sleeve, and the sleeve encloses the two longitudinal sections so closely that the set position of the sleeve relative to the plastic thread remains unchanged, wherein independent. displacement of the sleeve is suppressed due to the friction as a result of the close contact, but the tension of the thread wrapped around the lenses is freely selectable by displacing the longitudinal sections relative to one another and/or by displacing the sleeve on the longitudinal sections.
Eyewear
This eyewear is provided with: a lens which has an electric element, an electrode of the electric element being disposed at an edge of the lens; a frame which has a control unit for controlling the electric element, and which holds the lens; a conductive wire which has a long conductor surface that extends along and facing such edge, and which is connected to the control unit; and a conductive piece which extends along and facing such edge and which comes into contact with the electrode and the conductor surface.
Eyewear with water proof parts and anti-fog lenses
Eyewear is provided for use in wet settings, the eyewear including an eyeglass frame, a pair of arms, and a pair of lenses. The frame is connected to the arms, one each on opposite ends of the frame, by a hinge, and the frame, arms and hinges are formed of non-rusting materials. The lenses are made of plastic and are set in the frame, and wherein the lenses are coated with an anti-fog coating. The frame may further define a ring adapted to be hung onto a hanger. Alternatively, one of the arms further defines a ring adapted to be hung onto a hanger.
Eyewear systems, apparatuses, and methods for providing assistance to a user
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are taught that provide assistance to a user through an eyewear device. Data is received from a first sensor. The first sensor is incorporated into an eyewear device. The first sensor measures a parameter related to the user. A state of the user is analyzed using the data. Assistance is provided to the user. The assistance is in a form of feedback, and the feedback is related to the state of the user. The assistance can also be related to a context of the user and a state of the user. The context of the user is determined from the data.
SYSTEM FOR THE APPLICATION OF EYEDROPS
A system for introducing eye drops into the eyes of a user is disclosed. The system includes non-prescription sun glass frames. The glasses have a small circular opening the middle of each lens positioned above a user's open eye. In one embodiment, the opening an inner surface surrounding the opening includes inner threads. The liquid releasing end of a squeeze bottle of eyedrops may be placed securely in the application opening and drop applied with no spill or waste. An additional benefit of the sun glass design is to enable users who have recently had their eyes dilated to safely apply eye drops. The system is designed to reduce physiological issues associated with applying eyedrops.
HARDWARE ARCHITECTURE FOR MODULARIZED EYEWEAR SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND METHODS
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are taught that provide reconfigurable components for eyewear devices. A reconfigurable component for use in an eyewear device includes an embedded electronics system. The embedded electronics system is configured for wireless communication and for processing sensor signals. The embedded electronics system is embedded into a component of the eyewear device. A plurality of sensors is embedded into one or more of the reconfigurable component and the eyewear device. The plurality is in electrical communication with the embedded electronics system. The embedded electronic system further includes a processor. The processor is configured to receive outputs from the plurality of sensors and to determine a system control parameter from an output of at least one sensor of the plurality of sensors.
SPECTACLES WITH DUAL SALON AND TRADITIONAL CONFIGURATIONS
The multiuse eyeglasses include a frame that holds two lenses and arms that extend from the frame. The arms include a first axis of rotation that is generally perpendicular to the arms and a second axis of rotation that is orthogonal to the first axis of rotation and allows the arms to be rotated downwards relative to the frame.
