Eyewear having deployable auxiliary devices
Eyewear having one or more electronic devices stowable and deployable from storage cavities disposed in one or both temple arms of the eyewear are described. The devices are deployable through passages in the eyewear frame which are covered when the devices are in the stowed position. Devices may be changed either by removing and replacing a device or by removing and replacing a temple arm on a particular set of eyewear.
ADJUSTABLE LOOPED-CORD GOGGLE ATTACHABLE TO A HELMET
An adjustable looped-cord goggle attachable to a helmet is provided. The goggle includes a goggle frame having a first side and a second side, one or more channels formed along an internal periphery of frame, and an elastic cord adapted to form a first loop and a second loop. A first end of the cord fastened to a first position on the first side of the frame and a second end exits through a second position on the first side of the frame forming the first loop. A remaining portion of cord is passed through the channels to reach the second side of the frame. Further, the second end of the cord is passed through a third position and exits at a fourth position on the second side of the frame forming the second loop. The first loop and second loop fasten the goggle frame to the helmet.
STRUCTURE OF CLIP-ON GLASSES
A structure of clip-on glasses includes a spectacles frame for holding the glasses; the spectacles frame provides an installation part for fixing the glasses and buckle parts for clipping the spectacles frame to the eyeglasses; the buckle parts include elastic buckles which are set on the upper edge of the spectacles frame; elastic buckles are made of elastic material and their contact surface with the eyeglasses are rubber. Because of using elastic material of the elastic buckles, the glasses can adapt to all kinds of eyeglasses with different designs and well clip on. Due to the rubber surface of the elastic buckle, the eyeglasses can prevent from scratching by the elastic buckle.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING A PRESCRIPTION FOR AN EYE OF A PERSON
Disclosed is an eyewear including: a frame headwear configured to be worn by a user, the frame headwear including a front part, and at least one lens holder, each lens holder being configured to be removably fastened to the frame headwear in a predetermined mounted position and each lens holder including an associated pair of ophthalmic lenses attached to the lens holder, each lens of the associated pair of ophthalmic lenses being configured to be movable relative to the lens holder while being attached to the lens holder.
A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING AN EYEGLASSES FRAME
Providing an eyeglasses frame in a fully automatized manner includes: (d) obtaining a set of data relating to a 3D representation of the frame, from: (a) initial information relating to an initial representation of the frame; and (b) at least one wearer parameter, possibly automatically modified; and (c) at least one frame parameter, possibly automatically modified; and taking account of at least one constraint or automatically modified constraint, relating to geometry of the frame; and automatically providing the 3D representation from the obtained set of data; (e) applying an evaluation criterion to determine whether the 3D representation satisfies the constraint or automatically modified constraint and, if not, (f) iterating obtaining (d) and applying (e) with the automatically modified wearer parameter and/or with the automatically modified frame parameter and/or with the automatically modified constraint, to automatically provide a constraint-compliant set of data relating to a final representation of the frame.
Apparatus for improving accessories
An apparatus includes a container, a plurality of lights and a circuit. The container may comprise an outer shell comprising a material configured to protect contents of the apparatus and an inner surface. The outer shell may be configured to open to enable the contents to be placed on the inner surface. A cavity may be formed within the container when the outer shell is closed. The plurality of lights implemented on the inner surface may each be configured to adjust a characteristic of light output in response to a signal. The circuit may be configured to generate the signal in response to an input. The circuit may be implemented between the outer shell and the inner surface. A reactive material of the contents of the container may be configured to change appearance in response to the characteristic of light.
WEARABLE AUDIO SYSTEM SUPPORTING ENHANCED HEARING SUPPORT
Techniques for providing wearable electronic devices with electrical components are disclosed. The electrical components can provide electrical technology to eyewear to facilitate audio support including enhanced hearing. The electrical components can operate independently or together with other electrical components provided elsewhere. The wearable electronic devices with electronic components can, for example, provide audio output, audio enhancements, or event-related audio content.
Glasses-type device and charger for glasses-type device
A glasses-type device includes a lens support body that supports a pair of lenses, a first temple attached to the lens support body via one or more hinges, the first temple including a power supply unit provided at a position closer to the hinges than to a first ear hook, and a second temple attached to the lens support body via one or more hinges, the second temple including a control unit provided at a position closer to the hinges than to a second ear hook, the control unit having an operating unit operably by a user wearing the glasses-type device. A charger for charging the glasses-type device includes a power-transmitting coil that wirelessly transmits electric power to a power-receiving coil of the power supply unit, and a guide structure having a shape that is fitted into a shape of the temple, when the glasses-type device is engaged with the charger.
ULTRATHIN EYEGLASSES AND CASE
Embodiments of ultrathin eyeglasses are provided. The eyeglasses comprise a frame and temple pieces extending from the frame. The frame and temple pieces are configured to be directly connected using a bearing or a pin, without the need for a separately attached hinge piece. The temple pieces are configured to sit flat against the frame. An eyeglasses case is also provided. The case has a thin profile and is configured to be attached to a smartphone. The connection between the case and the smartphone allows relative rotation between the case and the smartphone.
Therapeutic Eyewear Sleeve
Therapeutic Eyewear patent introduces new functionality for the eyewear frame (prescription frames, sunglasses, goggles) —the delivery of CBD or other therapeutic medicine via infused pads located anywhere on the frame, primarily those parts of the frame in contact with the wearer's skin.
