The present invention proposes a timepiece mechanism comprising: a lever, rotatable about a lever axis, the angular position of the lever representing a first value, wherein a zero value of the first value corresponds to a reference direction, a sliding block mounted to move in translation on the lever in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axis of the lever and comprising a guide-mark element whose trajectory in translation relative to the lever is secant to the lever axis, the radial position of the guide-mark element with respect to the lever axis representing a second value, an output device formed of a deformable parallelogram in a plane perpendicular to the lever axis, the parallelogram including a first side, which is stationary with reference to the lever axis and perpendicular to the reference direction, a second side, which is opposite to the first side and linked in translation to the guide-mark element in the direction perpendicular to the reference direction,
the angular position of the third and fourth sides of the parallelogram, which are adjacent to the first side, being substantially proportional to the product of the first and second values.

Timepiece with digital time display

A wristwatch with a gear train for rotatably advancing in cyclic steps a minute-units disk, a switching device for advancing a minute-tens disk and an hour ring which is advanced during one revolution of the minute-tens disk. The movement comprises a first and a second transmission chain connected to a release mechanism; the first transmission chain controls the second such that the second transmission chain transmits every minute a rotational movement force to a minute-units wheel. The release mechanism comprises a control disk, two release levers, each having a first and a second lever arm, and a release wheel. After each minute, a first lever arm falls from the control disk edge into a recess of the control disk and a second lever arm releases the release wheel, such that the second transmission chain rotates freely, allowing the minute-units disk to rotate one digit further.

Musical attribution in a two-dimensional digital representation
10553188 · 2020-02-04 · ·

Musical attribution is performed in a two-dimensional (2D) digital representation. A piece of music representing a musical score is inputted. An abstracted representation of blanks of the score, called a digital audio canvas, is produced. Interactive, dynamic attribution is performed by a user to bring to life the musical score of abstracted blanks. Instrumentation selection, relative volume, scale selection, and score tempo are all musical attributes that are conveyed to the score of abstracted blanks. The score of the digital audio canvas is played back using the attributed blanks. The playback of the score is enabled by selecting appropriate abstracted blanks. The appropriate abstracted blanks are included among other blanks for increased educational and enjoyment value. The modified score is converted back into the format of the original inputted piece of music.

Intuitive music visualization using efficient structural segmentation

Embodiments of the present invention relate to automatically identifying structures of a music stream. A segment structure may be generated that visually indicates repeating segments of a music stream. To generate a segment structure, a feature that corresponds to a music attribute from a waveform corresponding to the music stream is extracted from a waveform, such as an input signal. Utilizing a signal segmentation algorithm, such as a Variable Markov Oracle (VMO) algorithm, a symbolized signal, such as a VMO structure, is generated. From the symbolized signal, a matrix is generated. The matrix may be, for instance, a VMO-SSM. A segment structure is then generated from the matrix. The segment structure illustrates a segmentation of the music stream and the segments that are repetitive.
