DRINKWARE CONTAINER WITH ACTIVE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
An actively heated or cooled cup or mug has a body with a chamber that can receive and hold a beverage and a heating or cooling system disposed in a cavity below the chamber. The heating or cooling system has a heating or cooling element to actively heat or cool the chamber, power storage devices, and circuitry that controls the operation of the heating or cooling elements. A sensor can detect a presence of a liquid in the chamber, the circuitry configured to turn on power to the heating or cooling elements after said liquid is detected and further configured to automatically turn off power to the heating or cooling elements upon receiving a signal indicating that the liquid in the chamber has dropped below a predetermined liquid level or been depleted completely.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL OPEN-FLAME OVEN
Disclosed is a multi-functional open-flame oven apparatus comprising an oven housing surrounding an oven chamber for containing foodstuffs, the oven chamber comprising an oven floor, a loading opening for loading foodstuffs into the oven chamber; and an aspiration inlet for permitting air flow into the oven chamber from the ambient environment and an adjustable aspiration outlet for airflow out of the oven chamber. The oven further comprises an open-flame heating apparatus for heating the oven chamber, a steam-generating apparatus for generating steam for the oven chamber, a smoker apparatus for generating smoke for the oven chamber; and a loading door for closing the loading opening. Also disclosed is an open-flame oven apparatus comprising a solid-fuel support apparatus for supporting a solid fuel to be burned.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A FOOD PREPARATION
The present disclosure relates to a system for the preparation of a food. The system comprises a monitoring device for monitoring the food during its preparation, a control device for the preparation of the food by means of a kitchen appliance and by means of an electronically stored recipe, and a mobile and/or non-mobile device. The monitoring device is able to communicate with the control device and the mobile and/or non-mobile device. The mobile and/or non-mobile device is configured such that it can transmit information of the monitoring device to a user. In particular, the control device is configured such that it recognizes possible absence times for a user during the controlled preparation of a food and informs the user thereof. The invention further relates to a food thermometer and a method.
Cooking device and components thereof
A cooking system includes a housing defining a hollow chamber configured to receive food, a controller configured to operate the cooking system in a plurality of modes including a conductive cooking mode and a convective cooking mode, a first temperature sensor operable by the controller to detect temperature in the hollow chamber during the conductive cooking mode, and a second temperature sensor operable by the controller to detect temperature in the hollow chamber during the convective cooking mode. The controller is configured to receive an initial user input that initiates at least one of the conductive cooking mode and the convective cooking mode and switch between operation of the first temperature sensor and the second temperature sensor following the initial user input and without further user input.

The disclosure discloses a multi-functional beverage container that includes a multi-walled evacuated vessel body; an integrated juicing element to releasably nest within the multi-walled evacuated vessel body; a multi-walled vessel top that realeasably seals to the multi-walled vessel body and to receive the juicing element; and a multi-walled cap that realeasably seals to the multi-walled vessel top. The container may further comprise a planar straining element for straining purposes, various sealing gaskets, integrated volumetric measuring indicators, a fluid within the dual walls comprising a freezing point below at least zero degrees Celsius to maintain a chilled nature of a stored liquid within the container. The container may comprise thermo-chromatic paint to indicate a representative temperature has been achieved, external portions to comprise textured elements to facilitate grasping and twisting, and an internal sensor to wirelessly communicate a measured weight to a secondary wireless device.

An apparatus for preparing a liquid includes a vessel including a top opening, the vessel able to hold a liquid; a shaft extending into the vessel; a basket coupled to the shaft, the basket having a cavity; and a motorized actuator assembly. Moreover solid ingredients can be disposed in the basket to brew the beverage. The solid ingredient can include coffee.

A portion of the lid is selectively positionable to form a pressure-tight heating volume between the hollow chamber and the portion of said lid. At least one heating element is associated with at least one of the housing and the lid. The at least one heating element is arranged within the pressure-tight heating volume.
