A watch component of the present disclosure includes a substrate, and a multilayer film covering at least a part of the substrate. A plurality of recesses is formed in a surface, of the substrate, facing the multilayer film. In a cross-sectional view obtained by cutting the substrate in a thickness direction, the plurality of recesses is defined by a first side, and a second side tilted with respect to the first side and being in contact with the first side at an end portion. In the cross-sectional view, a ratio of a length of the second side along the thickness direction of the substrate with respect to a length of the second side along a direction orthogonal to the thickness direction of the substrate is greater than ?. The multilayer film includes three or more layers of a color absorption film composed of a material including Cr. A value of a brightness L* in a L*a*b* color space is equal to or less than 10 in plan view as viewed from the thickness direction of the substrate.

Method for manufacturing appliques on a dial

A method for manufacturing appliques on a dial for a timepiece.

Method and system for manufacturing at least one timepiece element intended to be mounted on a timepiece component of a timepiece

A method for manufacturing a timepiece element, such as an applique, to be mounted on a timepiece component, such as a dial of a timepiece, includes producing a blank of the timepiece element from an injection overmoulding of injectable material into a cavity of a mould. The cavity is defined by the association of at least one impression of a first part of the mould with a second part of the mould including an inlet orifice of the cavity for injecting the material into the cavity. The method also includes finishing the timepiece element including applying a coating on the blank of the timepiece element overmoulded on the second part, and withdrawing the finished timepiece element from the second part, which includes breaking an injection point connecting the timepiece element to the second part in preparation for mounting thereof on the timepiece component.

Method for press-rolling a timepiece mainspring

Method for press-rolling a mainspring, from a wire comprising a pre-formed eye, utilizing a roller press comprising a first support and guide means exerting a force on the wire in a first contact area located between a second and a third contact area comprised in a second and a third support and guide means, in order to wind, beyond the eye, an accumulation area with an opposite curvature to that of the eye, and wherein, as the wire advances, the position of the first contact area is gradually moved away from the second and third contact areas, to vary the press-rolling radius from a first minimum value to a second maximum value at a neck junction between the accumulation area and the eye.

BINDER FOR INJECTION MOULDING COMPOSITIONS

Binder for injection moulding composition including: from 45 to 50 volume percent of a polymeric base, at least 34 volume percent of a mixture of waxes or a mixture of wax and palm oil, and from 11 to 16 volume percent of a surfactant, wherein the polymeric base contains ethylene and methacrylic or acrylic acid copolymers, or ethylene copolymers comprising a maleic anhydride or a mixture of such copolymers, in addition to polyethylene, polypropylene and an acrylic resin, the respective quantities of the binder components being such that added together, they do not exceed 100 volume percent.

Spiral spring for a sprung balance spiral resonator and method for manufacturing the same

The spiral includes turns of rectangular section, whose pitch p and/or thickness e can vary from the inside curve towards the outside curve, or whose winding can deviate from the line of a perfect spiral. The inside curve can also be extended by a self-locking washer for fixing the spiral on the balance arbour with no play. The spiral is manufactured by photolithography and galvanic growth, or by micro-machining an amorphous or crystalline material, such as a silicon wafer.

METHOD FOR FABRICATING DIAMOND-POLISHED APPLIQUES FOR HOROLOGY

A method for fabricating an applique for horology including a visible upper surface, and a lower surface for resting on a dial or a structure of a timepiece, and at least one foot projecting from the lower surface for attachment to such a dial or such a structure, according to which method, in a first operation, there is provided a profile or bar in which blanks of the feet and of the lower surface are machined, prior to cutting the profile or bar in a second operation, and then re-machining the upper surface, with at least one final diamond-polishing operation, wherein, during the first operation, at least two machining operations are performed in a cross so as to form a blank of each foot with a polygonal contour having facets.
