The system may also include a 5 thalamobot embodied in at least a first processor, in which the first processor is in communication with the input device. The thalamobot may include at least one filter for monitoring captured data from the input device and for identifying at least one state change within the captured data. The system may also include at least one critic and/or at least one recognition system.
Method for automatically adapting the conditions for establishing a diagnostic by an on-board diagnostic system
An automatic calibration method capable of adapting the set of conditions for performing hardware diagnostics, in an OBD system, with a view to optimizing the compromise between the number of diagnostics performed, in particular in order to comply with legislation relating to the ratio between the number of diagnostics performed on a component and the number of operating cycles, and the accuracy of the diagnostics.
System, method, and computer program for providing proactive customer care for issues associated with setting up the billing process as part of the ordering process
A system, method, and computer program product are provided for providing proactive customer care for issues associated with billing or ordering processes. In use, a likelihood that a customer is going to call a call center to address at least one issue associated with at least one of an ordering process or a billing process is predicted. Additionally, it is determined whether the customer is likely to call the call center based on the predicted likelihood that the customer is going to call the call center. Further, the customer is proactively notified before the customer contacts the call center, if it is determined that the customer is likely to call the call center.
ANALOG ARITHMETIC CIRCUIT, SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
The power consumption of an analog arithmetic circuit is reduced. The analog arithmetic circuit includes a plurality of first circuits. An output terminal of the k-th (k is a natural number) first circuit is connected to an input terminal of the k+1-th first circuit. Each of the first circuits includes a memory circuit which holds an analog signal, a second circuit which performs arithmetic processing using the analog signal, a switch which controls power supply to the second circuit, and a controller. The conduction state of the switch included in the k-th first circuit is controlled by the controller included in the k+1-th first circuit. The arithmetic processing performed by the second circuit included in the k+1-th first circuit is started by the controller included in the k+1-th first circuit.

Absolute acceleration sensor for use within moving vehicles
A method of and system for detecting absolute acceleration along various axes relative to a desired movement vector while moving relative to a gravity source includes steps of determining a vertical acceleration, perpendicular to the desired movement vector and substantially anti-parallel to a gravitational acceleration due to the gravity source; determining a longitudinal acceleration, parallel to the desired movement vector and to output at vertical acceleration signal and a longitudinal acceleration signal; determining an inclination of the desired movement vector relative to the gravitational acceleration; and processing the vertical acceleration signal, the longitudinal acceleration signal, and the inclination signal to produce an absolute vertical acceleration signal and an absolute longitudinal acceleration signal.
Configurable sensor units and sensor apparatus
Configurable sensor units and sensor apparatus are provided. A configurable sensor unit comprises a sensor device for generating an electrical signal, dependent on a stimulus sensed by the device, in a circuit, and a programmable non-volatile memory element operable in the circuit as a load resistor for the sensor device, whereby resistance of the load resistor depends on a programmed state of the memory element. The sensor unit has an output for providing an output signal dependent on the aforementioned electrical signal and programmed state. Sensor apparatus may comprise a plurality of these configurable sensor units. Such sensor apparatus may be configured to perform in-sensor compute operations for neural network architectures. Further sensor apparatus comprises a configurable sensor unit and a controller for programming the memory element of the sensor unit to a programmed state dependent on an operating requirement for the sensor unit.
FAST QUANTUM FEEDBACK USING ANALOG INTEGRATION AND CONTROL PULSE GATING
The technology is generally directed towards a pulse generation component that outputs a control pulse with a timing delay. A qubit state decision component uses an analog kernel to perform a linear filtering operation on (e.g., multiplies and integrates) a qubit signal to obtain a result corresponding to a qubit state, and compares the result to a threshold value to determine a measurement outcome result corresponding to the qubit state. A conditional gate component conditionally gates the control pulse based on the measurement outcome result.
Stream-based accelerator processing of computational graphs
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for receiving, by a computational graph system, a request to process a computational graph; obtaining data representing a subgraph of the computational graph, the computational graph comprising a plurality of nodes and directed edges, wherein each node represents a respective operation, wherein each directed edge connects a respective first node to a respective second node, the subgraph assigned to a first device by a placer in the computational graph system; determining that the first device comprises a hardware accelerator having a plurality of streams; in response to determining, generating instructions that when executed by the first device cause the first device to: assign the operation represented by each node in the subgraph to a respective stream; and perform the operations represented by the nodes in the subgraph in accordance with the assignment.
Construction machine
When it is confirmed that a distal end portion of an attachment has reached a predetermined distance detection start position apart from a cab on the basis of a posture of the attachment detected by posture detector, a control apparatus determines whether or not an object to be detected has reached a predetermined stop position closer to the cab than the distance detection start position on the basis of a distance of the object to be detected by a distance detection sensor, and controls the drive unit so as to stop the attachment when determining that the object to be detected has reached the stop position, and the control apparatus controls the drive unit so that the speed of the distal end portion of the attachment becomes a predetermined target speed or lower when the distal end portion of the attachment reaches the distance detection start position.
