This application relates to computing circuitry, and in particular to analogue computing circuitry suitable for neuromorphic computing. An analogue computation unit for processing data is supplied with a first voltage from a voltage regulator which is operable in a sequence of phases to cyclically regulate the first voltage. A controller is configured to control operation of the voltage regulator and/or the analogue computation unit, such that the analogue computation unit processes data during a plurality of compute periods that avoid times at which the voltage regulator undergoes a phase transition which is one of a predefined set of phase transitions between defined phases in said sequence of phases. This avoids performing computation operations during a phase transition of the voltage regulator that could result in a transient or disturbance in the first voltage, which could adversely affect the computing.

Automatically determining poisonous attacks on neural networks

Embodiments relate to a system, program product, and method for automatically determining which activation data points in a neural model have been poisoned to erroneously indicate association with a particular label or labels. A neural network is trained using potentially poisoned training data. Each of the training data points is classified using the network to retain the activations of the last hidden layer, and segment those activations by the label of corresponding training data. Clustering is applied to the retained activations of each segment, and a cluster assessment is conducted for each cluster associated with each label to distinguish clusters with potentially poisoned activations from clusters populated with legitimate activations. The assessment includes executing a set of analyses and integrating the results of the analyses into a determination as to whether a training data set is poisonous based on determining if resultant activation clusters are poisoned.

A map information processing apparatus includes a data extractor that extracts a difference between a shape of a past road link and a shape of a current road link as update data for updating predetermined map information. The data extractor does not extract the difference as the update data in a case where one road link of the past road link and the current road link is included in a buffer region obtained by extending the shape of the other road link by a predetermined distance.

A method of controlling a travel path of an agricultural baling system including a baler and a tow vehicle includes: receiving a first bale density signal indicative of a first bale density of a forming bale at a first location in a baling chamber; receiving a second bale density signal indicative of a second bale density of the forming bale at a second location; receiving a windrow signal indicative of a width of a windrow; comparing the first bale density to the second bale density; determining a difference between the first bale density and the second bale density exceeds a threshold difference; and outputting a steering signal to a steering mechanism of the tow vehicle to adjust at least one steerable wheel of the tow vehicle by an adjustment when the determined difference exceeds the threshold difference, the adjustment being based at least partially on the received windrow signal.

A method controls regenerative braking of a vehicle equipped with regenerative brakes and with a separate braking apparatus. The method is designed to generate a regenerative braking setpoint as a function of a braking request signal coming from a driver pedal of the vehicle, according to a first setpoint generation mode. The method includes receiving a flag signal coming from an active safety system of the vehicle, detecting value changes of the received flag signal, when the received flag signal changes value to take a value corresponding to activation of regulation by the active safety system, incrementing a counter value, and comparing the counter with a threshold. When the counter reaches the threshold, a control signal is formed to end the generation of the regenerative braking setpoint according to the first calculation mode and to impose generation of the regenerative braking setpoint according to a second calculation mode.
