METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ADAPTIVE TRAFFIC CONTROL
Traffic control systems, signal control systems, and methods of using such systems are disclosed. A real-time adaptive traffic control system includes multiple signal control systems, each associated with a signalized intersection. Each signal control system includes a receiver, a processor, and a transmitter. The receiver receives inflow traffic control information from other signal control systems and information associated with one or more vehicles or devices. The processor generates a signal timing plan based on the information and the inflow traffic control information. The transmitter transmits outflow traffic control information to other signal control systems. A fee or toll may be incurred for receiving the route information associated with a vehicle or device. The result of providing such route information may be better traffic flow for the transmitting vehicle or device and other vehicles or devices resulting from improved information being available to the traffic control system.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An information processing device to reserve a parking lot for a vehicle includes a reception unit; a first retrieval unit; a second retrieval unit; and a reservation unit. The reception unit receives first information regarding a destination of the vehicle. The first retrieval unit retrieves a route to the destination based on the first information. The second retrieval unit retrieves a route to the destination, a first area around the route, and first time. The reservation unit requests a reservation for a first parking lot in the first area at the first time using wireless or wired communication without waiting for an instruction from a user.
AUTOMATED RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARK
An automated vehicle park includes a site, a utility supply at the site, and an automated access control system to control access to the site by a guest. The automated access control system is configured to receive an access request associated with the site, determine if the access request is valid, and if the access request is valid, provide access to the utility supply at the site.
APPARATUSES AND A SYSTEM FOR MONITORING OCCUPANCY AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING ACTIVITY AT PARKING SPACES
A system and method monitors occupancy and electric vehicle charging activity at parking spaces to optimize charging availability and to electric vehicles and parking/charging control systems using various obtained data, and the use of the data to compute and dynamically adjust parking regulations, charging time and resulting alerts to customers and facility operators, to improve the management of energy consumption and control and manage as well as increase parking/charging station utilization.
System and method for facilitating enhanced offline payment
Embodiments described herein provide a client system for facilitating enhanced offline payment. During operation, the system obtains a location indicator, which indicates the location of a service, from a charging system. The system then generates an offline code that allows access to the service and corresponds to the location indicator. The offline code can be readable by the charging system, and the client system and the charging system can both be offline. Subsequently, the system encodes the historical data associated with the service in a field of the offline code and sends a message comprising the offline code to the charging system.
Apparatus and method for paying a wireless charging fee for an electric vehicle while driving
An apparatus for paying a wireless charging fee for an electric vehicle while being driven may include: an electric power receiver configured to perform wireless charging of an electric vehicle; a toll fee payment processor configured to perform a fee collection processing with respect to the electric vehicle in response to a toll fee payment request from a gantry; and a controller configured to generate information on an accumulated charging amount of the electric vehicle before the electric vehicle passes through the gantry in response to the toll fee payment request from the gantry and transmit the information on the accumulated charging amount to the toll fee payment processor.
Computer Implemented Method for Providing a Vehicle Service and Triggering a Process to Pay For the Vehicle Service, Software Program, and System
A vehicle service and a process to pay for the vehicle service are provided. A data connection is established between a service point and an electronic control unit of a vehicle. Initial vehicle service data is gathered that includes a timestamp of establishing the data connection, identification data of the vehicle, and, at the time of the timestamp, at least one value of a state of the vehicle indicating a quantity which is to be altered by the provision of the vehicle service. Service provider service data of the completed vehicle service is stored on the blockchain network. The validity of the provision of the vehicle service is checked by comparing the initial and final vehicle service data and the provider service data of the completed vehicle service. When the validity is confirmed, the process to pay for the vehicle service is triggered on the blockchain network.
VEHICLE FOLLOWING TRAVEL SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
There is provided with a vehicle following travel system configured to cause a following vehicle to perform following travel following a leading vehicle. A departure point and a destination desired by a user of the following vehicle. Based on the departure point and the destination, for the leading vehicle that the following vehicle follows is searched. A travel plan that includes a section of the following travel in at least a part between the departure point and the destination. A reward to the leading vehicle for the following travel is calculated based on the travel plan.
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR MICRO MOBILITY VEHICLE
A management system for a micro mobility vehicle, includes a service vehicle which is configured to travel along a movement path, wherein the service vehicle includes an accommodation slot for accommodating the micro mobility vehicle, and is configured for exchanging power with the micro mobility vehicle when the micro mobility vehicle is accommodated in the accommodation slot; and a management server configured to communicate with the micro mobility vehicle and the service vehicle to determine a location and a charging amount of the micro mobility vehicle and configured to manage charging and arrangement of the micro mobility vehicle by guiding the service vehicle to allow the micro mobility vehicle to be accommodated in the service vehicle or withdraw the micro mobility vehicle from the service vehicle.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR COLLECTING TOLLS ALONG A TOLL ROAD
A system for collecting a toll owed by a rental vehicle traveling along a toll road includes network interface hardware. a memory module, and a processor communicatively coupled to the network interface hardware and the memory module. Wherein the memory module stores logic that when executed by the processor, causes the processor to receive a rental start notification from the network interface hardware; and automatically execute toll payment logic stored on the memory module in response to receipt of the rental start notification. The toll payment logic causes the processor to detect and toll payment event throughout a rental period.
