Using identity information to facilitate interaction with people moving through areas
11810028 · 2023-11-07 · ·

A system receives a digital representation of a biometric for a person, uses the digital representation of the biometric to determine and/or otherwise retrieve identity information associated with the person, and uses the identity information to perform one or more actions related to the person's presence in one or more areas. For example, the system may estimate a path for the person and signal an agent electronic device based on the path. In another example, the system may determine a presence of a person within the area and/or transmit information to an agent electronic device regarding the determined presence. In still another example, the system may receive a request to communicate with the person and forward the communication to the person using the identity information.

Modular predictions for complex human behaviors

A device performs operations including determining a probability that a vulnerable road user (VRU) will continue on a current path (e.g., in connection with controlling an autonomous vehicle). The device receives an image depicting a vulnerable road user (VRU). The device inputs at least a portion of the image into a model, and receives, as output from the model, a plurality of probabilities describing the VRU, each of the probabilities corresponding to a probability that the VRU is in a given state. The device determines, based on at least some of the plurality of probabilities, a probability that the VRU will exhibit a behavior, and outputs the probability that the VRU will exhibit the behavior to a control system.

Systems and methods for service allocation based on real-time service provider and requestor attributes

A system described herein may provide a technique for identifying states associated with service providers based on biometric, sensor, and/or other information associated with a set of service providers. A request for service may be received, and a particular service provider may be selected based on a particular state associated with the particular service provider, as determined based on the biometric, sensor, and/or other information associated with the particular service provider. State information associated with a requestor of the service may be identified and used as a factor in selecting the particular service provider to respond to the service request.

Using proof of purchase for multifactor authentication

Multifactor authentication techniques described herein may allow a user to submit a recent proof of purchase as a part of a multifactor authentication process to access an account associated with a financial institution. As part of the login process, the user may submit a proof of purchase associated with a transaction. The financial institution may determine information associated with the transaction, such as a merchant associated with the proof of purchase, a time of the transaction, the last four numbers of the transaction card used, a dollar amount, or any combination thereof. If the information matches one or more records in the transaction history of the user's account, the financial institution may authenticate the user and provide access to the account. In this way, the financial institution may leverage transaction history known to the financial institution and the user to authenticate the user.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC SEGMENTATION AND PHASE PREDICTION IN ULTRASOUND IMAGES DEPICTING ANATOMICAL STRUCTURES THAT CHANGE OVER A PATIENT MENSTRUAL CYCLE

Systems and methods for automatically segmenting and detecting a menstrual cycle phase in ultrasound images of anatomical structures that change over a patient menstrual cycle are provided. The method includes acquiring, by an ultrasound probe of an ultrasound system, an ultrasound image of a region of interest having an anatomical structure that changes over a patient menstrual cycle. The method includes automatically segmenting, by at least one processor of the ultrasound system, an anatomical structure depicted in the ultrasound image. The method includes automatically predicting, by the at least one processor, a menstrual cycle phase based on the segmentation of the anatomical structure. The method includes causing, by the at least one processor, a display system to present at least one rendering of the segmented anatomical structure and the predicted menstrual cycle phase.

Road side vehicle occupancy detection system

A system for detecting occupancy of a vehicle travelling in a direction of travel along a road. The system includes a roadside imaging device positioned on a roadside, and a first roadside light emitter, and a roadside vehicle detector. A processor is configured to receive a signal from the roadside vehicle detector, command the first roadside light emitter to emit light according to a first pattern for a first duration, command the roadside imaging device to capture images of the side of the vehicle, and compute a vehicle occupancy, in each of the captured images by determining one or more regions of interest in each of the captured images, and determining a number of visible occupants in the one or more regions of interest. The processor determines a most likely number of occupants based on each determined vehicle occupancy.

An electronic device includes a substrate, a light emitting diode and an optical sensor. The light emitting diode is disposed on the substrate and emits a light. The optical sensor is disposed on the substrate and is configured to receive the light. The optical sensor receives the light to generate a first electrical signal for fingerprint authentication, and receives the light to generate a second electrical signal for luminance calibration of the light.

Imaging an object on a display

In some aspects, a device may detect that an object is contacting a display of the device. The device may illuminate, based at least in part on detecting that the object is contacting the display, a plurality of pixel regions of the display. The plurality of pixel regions may be illuminated sequentially. The device may obtain, using one or more photosensors, a set of data relating to light that is reflected from at least a portion of the object based at least in part on illuminating the plurality of pixel regions. The set of data may include respective data for each sequential illumination of the plurality of pixel regions. The device may generate an image of at least the portion of the object based at least in part on the set of data. Numerous other aspects are described.

Device, system, and method for performance monitoring and feedback for facial recognition systems

Disclosed is a process for performance monitoring and feedback for facial recognition systems. A first image for image matching from a camera capture device at a first location is received for purposes of image matching. A highest match confidence score of the first image to a particular stored enrollment image is determined. One or more image or user characteristics associated with the first image or first user is identified. The identified image or user characteristics and highest match confidence score are added to a facial recognition monitoring and feedback model. Subsequently, a particular one of the stored image or user characteristics consistently associated with a below-threshold highest match confidence score is identified, and a notification is displayed or transmitted including an indication of an identified facial recognition low match pattern and identifying the particular one of the stored image characteristics or user characteristics.
