Vehicle-based order entry and processing mechanism
The present invention uses an order processing server to transmit an electronic menu to a customer. When a vehicle comes within range of the server's transceiver, the menu is received by the particular customer device, and the order is formulated and transmitted back to the server.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IDENTIFYING POTENTIAL SHOPLIFTING INCIDENTS
Embodiments relate to systems and methods for identifying potential shoplifting incidents. In one embodiment, a system can receive and analyze information related to a number of items removed from a display and a number of items added to a shopping receptacle. These numbers of items can be detected by weight or load changes sensed by a sensor system, and if the counted numbers of items do not match, the system can flag nearby shopping receptacles via their unique identification numbers as potentially involved in shoplifting incidents.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF JUST-IN TIME REVERSE LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT
A system and method for just in-time reverse logistics management directed to receiving one or more product orders associated with one or more individual SKU's; tracking one or more products SKU's through a cyclical product lifecycle, matching a product order with a product in the cyclical product lifecycle; assembly the product order based on the priority hierarchy; and shipping the product order based on the priority hierarchy.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING A TAILORED USER EXPERIENCE AT A SELF-SERVICE KIOSK
Embodiments of the disclosure enable a tailored user experience to be provided. A kiosk system includes a scanner component configured to identify biometric data; a metric component configured to communicate with the scanner component to identify user identifier data based on the biometric data; a transaction component configured to communicate with the metric component to identify a financial account corresponding to the identified user identifier data, and generate a request for authorization for a financial transaction using the identified financial account; and a dispenser component configured to communicate with the transaction component to determine whether to dispense the beverage. Aspects of the disclosure provide for tailoring a user experience based on various factors including a user metric and/or an account metric.
Vending machine remote sensing of contents apparatus
A vending machine remotes contents sensing apparatus collects information from the actual delivery of a product, sends it on to an MCU, then to a CPU, to the internet, to a remote receiver with a web interface application on a web page for access by a service person for real time delivery information.
Communication device for vending machine and method of using the same
The present application is directed to systems and methods for transmitting vending machine data wirelessly via a reporting device. Each vending machine may connect to a reporting device. The reporting device may communicate with a mobile device wirelessly, where the mobile device may be carried by an operator. The reporting device may transmit vending machine data to the mobile device. The reporting device may transmit maintenance information to the mobile device. The mobile device may upload the vending machine data and maintenance information via a network to a remote device. The reporting device may enable a customer to make purchases with a mobile device. The reporting device may receive a repair-needed notification from a customer's mobile device.

SYSTEM FOR DISINFECTING A POINT-OF-SALE TERMINAL
It is described herein a system for disinfecting a point-of-sale terminal. The system may comprise a housing and at least one light source. The housing may be configured to connect to a first exterior surface of the point-of-sale terminal with the at least one light source mounted within a hollow interior of the housing. The at least one light source may be configured to project light in the ultraviolet spectrum of between 100 nm and 400 nm at a first angle relative to a first plane of the point-of-sale terminal upon receiving an electrical signal from a switching mechanism. The first angle may be in the range of between 0° and 90°.
