PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR A POWER TOOL
A protection system for a power tool is disclosed having a battery pack. The batter pack may be used with the power tool to supply an electrical consumer of the power tool with electrical energy, as well as hearing protection for a user of the power tool. The battery pack has a first control circuit, which is set up to, directly or indirectly, provide information relating to a value of an operating parameter of the power tool to a second control circuit of a hearing protector. The hearing protector has an audio output device, and the second control circuit is set up for this purpose, the audio output device uses the transmitted information to control generation of an audible warning output.
Smoke warning system and smoke classification system thereof
A smoke alarm may include at least one sensor head including a miniature mass spectrometer; a microcontroller unit configured to receive data from each of the at least one sensor head; and at least one of a photoelectric detector, or ionization detector. Further, the smoke alarm may be capable of determining categories of smoke and delivering discrete alerts accordingly.
Fish alert tool
Common practices in fishing makes it difficult for people to notice when a fish strikes. To address these and other problems associated with common practices in fishing, a fish alert tool can be configured to generate an alert when a fish strikes. The fish alert tool can include a holder for a fishing pole and a spike that is connected to the holder and supports the holder from the ground. The fish alert tool can also include an alarm that generates the alert when the fish strike is detected.

Dynamic, interactive signaling of safety-related conditions in a monitored environment
Systems and methods for determining safe and unsafe zones in a workspace—where safe actions are calculated in real time based on all relevant objects (e.g., some observed by sensors and others computationally generated based on analysis of the sensed workspace) and on the current state of the machinery (e.g., a robot) in the workspace—may utilize a variety of workspace-monitoring approaches as well as dynamic modeling of the robot geometry. The future trajectory of the robot(s) and/or the human(s) may be forecast using, e.g., a model of human movement and other forms of control. Modeling and forecasting of the robot may, in some embodiments, make use of data provided by the robot controller that may or may not include safety guarantees.

Systems and methods for installing an item using augmented reality
In some implementations, a device may determine dimensions of an installation area in a real-world environment and may obtain information identifying dimensions of an installation template associated with installing an equipment in the real-world environment. The device may determine a scale for displaying augmented reality representations associated with installing the equipment, based on the dimensions of the installation area and the dimensions of the installation template. The device may identify, based on information identifying an installation point of the installation template, a virtual installation point associated with installing the equipment in the installation area. The user device may display an augmented reality representation of the virtual installation point to enable a depiction of a corresponding real installation point in the installation area. The augmented reality representation may be displayed based on the scale and a distance from the user device to the installation area.

PORTABLE U-LOCK
A portable hoop lock comprises a lock body that accommodates an electromechanical locking mechanism; and a hoop that has at least one locking section that can be selectively introduced into the lock body or released from the lock body, wherein the locking mechanism comprises at least one latch and an electric motor for driving the latch, wherein the latch is configured to lock the locking section of the hoop introduced into the lock body to the lock body in a locking position and to release the locking section of the hoop for a removal from the lock body in a release position. In this respect, the electric motor is configured to selectively move the latch from the locking position into the release position via a drive transmission section of the locking mechanism and the lock body has a watertight cover that surrounds the electric motor.
ELEVATION BASED MACHINE LOCALIZATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method of determining a relative elevation of a work machine. The method includes receiving a first pressure reading from a first pressure sensor coupled to a chassis of a work machine and receiving a second pressure reading from a second pressure sensor. The method also includes calculating a first relative elevation of the chassis of the work machine relative to the second pressure sensor by comparing the first pressure reading to the second pressure reading.
